Lyrics:
NAMU AMIDA BUTSU, NAMU AMIDA BUTSU
I give thanks to Amida Buddha,
I give thanks to Amida Buddha,
Amida Buddha, my Oya-Sama,
beloved parent and my savior
rescuing me from many kalpas of evil karma.
By the power of His Universal Vow,
I am among the millions gifted
with this inconceivable Shinjin
and the assurance of Buddhahood
in His glorious Land of Peace and Bliss!
This realm of suffering
is a place of impermanence.
I wish to leave it
and go to Amida's Pure Land.
Amida will bring me there,
soon as I leave this body of skin and bones.
I am truly saved!
I give thanks to Amida Buddha, my savior!
NAMU AMIDA BUTSU.
