Composed by Traditional Irish. Arranged by David McKeown. Celtic,Folk,Holiday,Irish,Multicultural,Wedding,World. Score and parts. 4 pages. David McKeown #6013301. Published by David McKeown (A0.588789).

The Londonderry Air is among the best loved melodies of Ireland. This beautiful version is arranged as a duet for one Flute and one Oboe.

The Londonderry Air was first collected and notated in the mid-nineteenth century in County Londonderry in the North of Ireland, however, the origins of the melody remain unknown. In 1913 the English writer Frederic Weatherley set his poem Danny Boy to the melody. There are many other settings of the Londonderry Air, with various lyrics and in musical styles from orchestral to brass band to jazz, but Danny Boy remains the best known.

Londonderry Air is simply arranged in accessible keys and over a range best suited to the instruments. The melody is played twice with a key change and different accompaniment on the second verse and is suitable for players at an intermediate level and above. With a performance time of a little over three minutes, this version of Londonderry Air is perfect for recitals and concert performance. Composed by Traditional. Arranged by Stephanie Daige. Celtic,Folk,Holiday,Traditional. Score and parts. 1 pages. Stephanie Daige #3072339. Published by Stephanie Daige (A0.796847).

Traditional Irish favorite arranged for Flute and Oboe duet.  It would work well with any two treble single line instruments (i.e. 2 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets, 2 saxophones, etc) that are in the same key.  Each voice gets a solo, and there are some nice harmonies between the two voices.  My husband and I play this for my mom on St. Patrick's Day and it moves her to tears.  It's in the key of F for an easy key and the range is easy as well.  .

Composed by David McKeown. Blues,Easter,Hip-Hop,Pop,R & B,Rock. Score and parts. 3 pages. David McKeown #6273723. Published by David McKeown (A0.591058).

Easter Bunny Hop is a fun and original duet written by David McKeown for one Flute and one Oboe.

Easter Bunny Hop is one in a series of ten Easter-themed duets each written in a different Rock’n’Roll style. The Hop was all the craze in the late ‘50s, when early Rock’n’Roll became popular at school gymnasium dances. Danny and the Juniors’ 1957 hit At the Hop defined the genre.

Easter Bunny Hop is suitable for players at an intermediate level and above, with the accessible key and range balanced by the fast tempo, some syncopated rhythms and many accidentals. With a playing-time of around one and a half minutes, Easter Bunny Hop is a perfect addition to any performance program, formal or informal.
