Ale Brider is a Yiddish Folk song, often performed by Klezmer musicians. This version is arranged as a duet for one Flute and one Oboe.

The music for Ale Brider is a traditional East European melody of unknown origin. The lyrics were written by Morris Winchevsky, a Lithuanian writer who became a prominent socialist/communist in early twentieth century London and New York. The title Ale Brider, (We Are All Brothers), reflected his socialist beliefs.

Ale Brider is simply arranged in a key and range best suited to the instruments. The melody is in two sections and is played three times with constant variations in the accompaniment. Ale Brider is suitable for players at an intermediate level and above. With a performance time of three minutes, this version of Ale Brider is perfect for concert performances, both formal and informal. The Londonderry Air is among the best loved melodies of Ireland. This beautiful version is arranged as a duet for one Flute and one Oboe.

The Londonderry Air was first collected and notated in the mid-nineteenth century in County Londonderry in the North of Ireland, however, the origins of the melody remain unknown. In 1913 the English writer Frederic Weatherley set his poem Danny Boy to the melody. There are many other settings of the Londonderry Air, with various lyrics and in musical styles from orchestral to brass band to jazz, but Danny Boy remains the best known.

Londonderry Air is simply arranged in accessible keys and over a range best suited to the instruments. The melody is played twice with a key change and different accompaniment on the second verse and is suitable for players at an intermediate level and above. With a performance time of a little over three minutes, this version of Londonderry Air is perfect for recitals and concert performance.
