C Instrument - Digital Download SKU: A0.737424 Composed by Antonio Vivaldi. Arranged by Andre Maaker. Baroque,Classical. Lead Sheet / Fake Book. 4 pages. SheetMusicHub #345590. Published by SheetMusicHub (A0.737424). This is a lead sheet style (melody/chords/form) notation of Allegro from The Spring / la Primavera by Antonio Vivaldi. Lead sheet by Andre Maaker. From Wikipedia: The Four Seasons (Italian: Le quattro stagioni) is a group of four violin concertos by Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi, each of which gives musical expression to a season of the year. These were composed around 1718−1720, when Vivaldi was the court chapel master in Mantua. They were published in 1725 in Amsterdam, together with eight additional concerti, as Il cimento dell'armonia e dell'inventione (The Contest Between Harmony and Invention). The Four Seasons is the best known of Vivaldi's works. Though three of the concerti are wholly original, the first, Spring, borrows patterns from a sinfonia in the first act of Vivaldi's contemporaneous opera Il Giustino. The inspiration for the concertos is not the countryside around Mantua, as initially supposed, where Vivaldi was living at the time, since according to Karl Heller they could have been written as early as 1716–1717, while Vivaldi was engaged with the court of Mantua only in 1718. They were a revolution in musical conception: in them Vivaldi represented flowing creeks, singing birds (of different species, each specifically characterized), a shepherd and his barking dog, buzzing flies, storms, drunken dancers, hunting parties from both the hunters' and the prey's point of view, frozen landscapes, and warm winter fires. #vivaldi #fourseasons #sheetmusic.

Lead Sheet / Fake Book. 4 pages. Zoran Radanovic #1020859. Published by Zoran Radanovic (A0.1440880). This very famous serbian folk song arrangement is lead sheet with chords and lyrics. Diese sehr berühmtes serbisches Volkslied Arrangement ist solo Musiknoten mit Akkorde und Text.Ovaj aranzman je solo sa akordima tekstom. Ederlezi is a popular traditional folk song of the Romani people in the Balkans. The song got its name from Ederlezi, which is a festival[1] celebrating the return of springtime, especially by the Romani people of the Balkans, and elsewhere around the world. Ederlezi is the Romani name for the Feast of Saint George. It is celebrated on 6 May [O.S. 23 April] (occurring approximately 40 days after the spring equinox),[2]. The various Balkan spellings (Herdeljez, Erdelezi) are variants of the Turkish H?d?rellez, a holiday signaling the beginning of spring, occurring on the same day.Goran Bregovi?'s version titled Ederlezi(Scena Djurdjevdana Na Rijeci) was famously used in Emir Kusturica's movie Time of the Gypsies.[1] It was performed by the Macedonian singer Vaska Jankovska.[6] Ederlezi (Scena Djurdjevdana Na Rijeci) also appeared in the movie Borat, although it has no connection to the authentic music of Kazakhstan. The text in brackets in Serbo-Croatian means: The scene of ?ur?evdan on the river, a description of a ?ur?evdan celebration on a river in the movie Time of the Gypsies where that song was used. Sacha Baron Cohen's movie does not have a ?ur?evdan river scene.[7][8] In both soundtrack albums – Time of the Gypsies and Stereophonic Musical Listenings That Have Been Origin in Moving Film Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan – it was credited to Goran Bregovi?, although he is not the author nor the singer of the song on these albums. However, he arranged the song.

C Instrument - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1157093 By Steve Lockwood. By Steve Lockwood. Chamber,Jazz. Lead Sheet / Fake Book. 8 pages. Stephen Lockwood #757421. Published by Stephen Lockwood (A0.1157093). An improvised music composition for small jazz combo. This is actually a concept piece for a band used to playing free style improvisations. Listening to the mp3 or disc might help. The open bass/drums duet sets the stage for barlines and note values not to be taken literally. Horn and keyboard should be able to construct a rapid fire phrasing of the melody over the bass/drums. The improv idea is a collective, everyone solos but no one solos concept. Hint: Bass melody is a 12-tone serial idea, meant as a motif. Have fun!
