American Pie is the number-one hit single from Don McLean’s 1971 album American Pie. One of the most requested songs for working bands, this chart will make the song an easy addition to your repertoire. This arrangement features a combined Rhythm Section part with clear chord spellings and rhythmic cues for bass guitar, drum kit, guitar, and piano. Additionally, the arrangers have included original backing parts for alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, and trombone to add depth of textures and dynamics to the arrangement. The horn parts include up to the three voices in harmony allowing a choice of which horn takes the first, second, or third part.
