The harmonies and melody continue to sway in their relations in a curious and yet logical progression. I have provided score and parts and also a separate version of the guitar part which provides chord names and fretboard symbols; this would make it useful for educational purposes. Many of the arrangements that are out there don’t have same notes as the original, and therefore some of the cleverness and simplicity of the original gets lost.This arrangement uses the same shapes as the original, and there’s guitar and tablature as well guitar notation only so that you can easily see that almost all the measures in the music have the same right hand fingering, despite the mix of open and stopped strings making the score look much more complex than it actually is!The original key makes for undue complexity in the clarinet part, so I have arranged the piece to be played by the guitar with a Capo on fret one, so that all the clever shapes can be retained, and the piece moved from 5 sharps in the Clarinet to no sharps. In both the score and the tablature the fingering and positions are marked relative to the Capo, so fret 5 means 5 frets up from the Capo (actually fret 6 on the guitar).I’ve produced two clarinet parts - one sits almost entirely in the chalumeau register, and one sits almost entirely in the clarion register.
