Josquin des Prez (c.1450-1521) was a composer of the Renaissance period, widely regarded as one of the greatest composers of all time. Probably the best known of Scott Joplin’s piano rags, The Entertainer was written in 1902. It was included on Joshua Rifkin’s famous 1970 revival recording of Joplin’s music and an orchestration featured on the soundtrack of the movie The Sting in 1973. This arrangement won an Oscar and reached No.3 on the US single charts. 

This version has been arranged as a duet for one Oboe and one Bassoon and includes all four sections of the original composition.
