L'Almanach Aux Images (The Almanac of Images) by French composer Gabriel Grovlez is a delightful work of eight beautiful pieces for solo Piano first published in 1911 based on poems by Tristan Klingsor. The music is in the impressionist style and harkens to Fauré and Debussy.

The movements are: Les Marionnettes (The Puppets), Chanson du Chasseur (The Hunter's Song), Petites Litanies de Jesus (The Little Litanies of Jesus), Chanson de L'Escarpolette (Song of the Swing), Berceuse de la Poupeé (Lullaby for a Doll).

Brian McDonie has beautifully arranged the five contrasting movements to comprise a suite for 8-part Trombone ensemble of moderately advanced performers.

Jeff Reynolds, a great authority on the music of the Moravian Church has beautifully arranged seven Chorales and Chants for Trombone Ensemble. These are gorgeous sounding settings and can make a wonderful addition to a service or concert.

A faithful and authentic transcription of the fourth movement of Gustav Holst's The Planets: Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity for trombone choir with nothing left out except for some of the faster runs.  It is arranged in a double quartet format to cover all of the various back and forth moments that occur in the piece.  

The eight parts would ideally be performed with two players on each part, but they are still managable for smaller ensembles and would also be suitable for a Low Brass Ensemble that included Euphonium and/or Tuba.
