Flute Choir,Woodwind Ensemble Alto Flute,Bass Flute - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1349775 By Billie Eilish. By Billie Eilish O'Connell and Finneas O'Connell. Arranged by Lisa Ochoco. 21st Century,Contemporary,Film/TV,Pop. 18 pages. Lisa L Ochoco #934548. Published by Lisa L Ochoco (A0.1349775). This song is from the popular movie Barbie.  Billie Eilish, who collaborated with her brother, said that the song meant the world to her.  She was inspired by the movie and the main character.  She thought about how she would feel if she was Barbie and wrote about that. This arrangement is scored for low flute choir - 3 altos, 2 basses, and 2 contrabass flutes.  There is an optional double string bass part that mostly doubles the contrabass 2 part. Duration: 3.75 minutes.

Flute Choir,Woodwind Ensemble Alto Flute,Bass Flute,Piccolo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1427856 Composed by Grant Horsley. Classical,Comedy,Contemporary,Contest,Festival,Halloween. 46 pages. Grant Horsley #1008598. Published by Grant Horsley (A0.1427856). A Hunky punk is a grotesque carving on the side of a building, typically found on Mid/ Late medieval churches in the UK. They are plentiful in Somerset in the West Country of England Though similar in appearance to a gargoyle, a hunky punk is purely decorative and has no other functional purpose whatsoever!! Unlike the gargoyle, which serves to drain water off the roof through its mouth. The theory behind hunky punks and grotesques in general, was that churches were designed to reflect the balance between good and evil, reminding worshippers of the narrow path leading through life. As a result, for every saint or animal that was intended to signify purity and ‘goodness’, there was also an ugly creature to signify evil and ‘badness’. Scored for 4 C Flutes, Alto and Bass Flute with optional Piccolo and Contrabass Flute parts. (A 6 C Flute version is also available.)This piece is in concert D minor and begins with a medieval type of fanfare which occurs throughout. What follows is a haunting theme with lots of flattened 5ths and several discords to represent the uncomfortable nature of this statue. The staccato and accent direction in most of the piece gives the impression of walking on eggshells not knowing what lies around the corner! Then a brief legato section of the fanfare appears to provide a calmer atmosphere before eventually returning to the main theme and big ending. A 6 C Flute version is also available.Set at intermediate level but on the youtube link there is the full score for you to assess suitability. It is nearly 5 mins in length and would be a great addition to a repertoire.Price is for the full score and all parts.

Flute Choir,Woodwind Ensemble Alto Flute,Bass Flute,Piccolo,Soprano Flute - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1367219 Composed by R H Baptiste. 21st Century,Classical,Contemporary. 75 pages. Ron Baptiste #951576. Published by Ron Baptiste (A0.1367219). This is a rather long piece (about 22 minutes) - but quite amenable to breaking it up any number of ways (by month, quarter, etc).  I wrote this over the course of the Covid shutdown, when we were pretty much housebound for long periods.  It's divided into 12 sections, one for each month, beginning in March 2020 - when we here in Canada first found out about the approaching pandemic.  I tried to represent each month as it affected me - some sadder, some a bit more optimistic.  I especially like December - mostly sad, with a brief reprieve for Christmas, then back to sad.  In this neck of the woods, Christmas was all but cancelled as we were pretty much in lockdown;  at the last minute, restrictions were eased to allow small gatherings for the Holiday.  Overall, it was a sad, lonely year - especially for musicians!  Whatever your personal stance on the pandemic, it certainly affected us all - and resulted in the loss of many lives.

Flute Choir,Woodwind Ensemble Alto Flute,Bass Flute - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1357680 By Baron Daemon and and The Vampires. By Hovey Larrison and Mike Riposo and. Arranged by Terry Patrick Mingle. Comedy,Halloween,Holiday,Thriller. 16 pages. Terry Patrick Mingle #942221. Published by Terry Patrick Mingle (A0.1357680). As mentioned in an article online, this is Syracuse NY's Transylvania Twist -- The Best Halloween Song You Never Heard. The song is a bit of a rarity, and a parody of another 1960's era song, but modified with Halloween lyrics and sung by a beloved local character, Baron Daemon, a somewhat bumbling, slapstick, campy vampire, who had a local TV show in Central NY for years. For more information, please visit: https://mcantil.com/syracuses-transylvania-twist-the-best-halloween-song-you-never-heard/ - and to hear the original recording of the song on YouTube, please visit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9NlFIi00zyE - this would be a fun addition to any Halloween music library.

Flute Choir,Woodwind Ensemble Alto Flute,Bass Flute - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.817937 Composed by Michael Praetorius (1571-1621). Arranged by Adrian Dee. Contemporary,Praise & Worship,Renaissance,Wedding. 10 pages. Adrian Dee #3511601. Published by Adrian Dee (A0.817937). This piece was originally written for vocal ensemble (Cantus I, Cantus II, Altus, Tenor I, Tenor II, Basso) and is typical of Praetorius’ flowing counterpoint and mellifluous harmonies. It would be a lovely addition to a wedding or similar ceremony, or for a quiet meditative moment in a religious service or concert program. The notes are easy, making this piece an excellent opportunity to focus on ensemble skills, such as balance and intonation. The work is only about a minute and a half in length. You might want to experiment with repeating the entire work, possibly with the top four voices (Flutes 1 & 2, alto, bass 1) up an octave. The tempo marking is only a guideline; do what feels right for your ensemble.  The contrabass part may be covered by a third regular bass flute.Let me know what you think! adriandeeflute@gmail.com

Woodwind Ensemble Flute - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.813487 Composed by Johann Pachelbel. Arranged by Regis Bookshar. Baroque,Multicultural,Standards,Wedding,World. 36 pages. Regis Bookshar #6265581. Published by Regis Bookshar (A0.813487). Canon in D (Pachelbel) (D) (Flute Octet) - Advanced/Intermediate - Digital Download. This selection, Johann Pachelbel's celebrated Canon in D, is perhaps the most famous canon ever written and has been one of my favorite compositions to arrange. A canon is a polyphonic device in which several voices play the same music, entering in sequence. Pachelbel's Canon in D, was originally written in the key of D Major and was scored for three violins arranged in canon, accompanied by a basso continuo which repeats the same harmonic progression throughout the entire piece. The common musical term for this is ostinato or ground bass. Regis Bookshar has now arranged this music for a Flute Octet. Three Flutes play the melody in canon while the ostinato accompaniment is played by the other five instruments. This arrangement is suitable for high school and college students but could also be performed by professional performers. It is perfect for concerts and church services, especially for Weddings, but could be performed for any occasion. Included are a score and a complete set of parts (36 pages). This version is written in the key of D Major, as is the original version, but, if you prefer, another version, written in the key of Bb Major, to make it a little easier for some younger performers, is also available. Other versions of Pachelbel's Canon In D have also been arranged by Regis Bookshar and are available for a wide variety of instrumental Quintets and Octets, in both the keys of D Major and Bb Major. I think that String players would probably prefer to play the versions in the key of D Major while the Brass and Woodwind musicians might prefer to play the Bb Major versions. I hope you take the time to compare the different versions to find the right version for you. To help you decide which version, or versions, you may want to choose, I have included several musical samples for you to listen to and to hear what these arrangements may sound like and so that you may compare the various arrangements. Also, just to let you know, the Octets written in the key of Bb Major have full-length recordings while the Octets in D Major and all Quintets have only the first 25 measures, or so, available to hear. Please feel free to search for other arrangements by Regis Bookshar which are also available. There are quite a few other arrangements in a variety of styles and I'm certain you will find something else which might interest you as well. Please keep checking because I plan to continue to add new arrangements as often as I can. I'm certain that this exciting arrangement of Pachelbel's Canon in D will be a challenge to some performers but will continue to entertain both performers and audiences alike for years to come.

Flute Choir,Woodwind Ensemble Alto Flute,Bass Flute,Piccolo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.817939 Composed by Adrian Dee. Contemporary. 73 pages. Adrian Dee #4413997. Published by Adrian Dee (A0.817939). This work consists of three short movements in irregular meters.  The contrabass part is not optional but may be played on a regular bass flute if no contra is available.  The first movement, Stomp is in 9/8, conducted in 4: (initially 3 + 2 + 2 + 2 changing to 2 + 2 + 2 + 3 halfway through) with a heavy pulse and a bluesy chord progression in E minor. The second movement, Waltz is in 3 (3 + 3 + 2) with a momentary straight 3 in the middle section. This sweet little melody in G major is a bright contrast to the aggressive first movement. The final movement, Reeling is in 5/8 (2 + 3) with a brief detour to 2/4 near the end, in E major. It is a joyous dizzy layering of twirling notes in the upper voices against a rising grounded melody in the lower voices.  Each movement is 2 ½ to 3 minutes in length. This work is also available in a version for flute quartet (3 C-flutes and alto flute, or 4 C-flutes).  Let me know what you think! adriandeeflute@gmail.com
