Arrangement of the famous Mozart andante for flute and orchestra KV 315 for flute ensemble or flute choir

1 solo flute, 3 C flutes, 1 alto flute and 1 bass flute is the minimum, but the arrangement suits well to larger flute choirs. Contrabass flute is optional.

If you have more than 1 flute for each part, the first musician should play the solo parts, and all the others the tutti part.

This beautiful song is in Broadway's production of The Little Mermaid, which differs a little from Disney's version.  If Only is a quartet sung by Ariel, Prince Eric, Sebastian, and King Triton. It is quite a lovely song, and translates well as an instrumental-only piece.

Scored for low flute choir - 3 altos, 3  basses, and contrabass.  There are optional double bass and contra alto parts to add to the bass line.

This is a beautiful piece that your audience will love, whether they are familiar with the Broadway musical's version or not.

This catchy doo-wop song resonates with people with its familiar chord progressions and beat.  Trainor co-wrote this song as part of a therapy exercise after she became insecure about her body after her pregnancy. 

While this is an instrumental version, the lyrics of this song promote self-love and self-confidence.  The tune is quite repetitive, but it's fun to play and, if anything, is a good filler in between your more technically challenging pieces in your recital. 

Scored for flute choir - 4 C, alto, and bass flutes.  There are optional contrabass and cello parts.  There are also 2 percussion parts that are also optional, but these parts add quite a bit to the mood of the music.  This song is just a feel-good, toe-tapping piece that is not difficult and quite entertaining.

Pastoral Symphony is the 13th movement in Handel's Messiah.  This is the beginning of Scene 4 of the oratorio, The Annunciation to the Shepherds, after the birth of Jesus.  

The word pastorale in baroque music is a melody in thirds over a drone bass.  Originally called Pifa, this movement was named after the shepherd bagpipers - pifferari -  who used to play their instruments in the streets of Rome at Christmastime.  

Scored for 2 altos, bass, optional contra alto in G, and contrabass flutes.  There is an optional cello part that doubles the contrabass.
