A New Ground (ZT 682) for Flute Choir by Henry Purcell.
The original music was written for harpsichord in E minor. It appears in a musical performance (more aptly called, semi-opera) Welcome to All the Pleasures. Purcell wrote this operetta when he was 24.

The ideal choir for this beautiful melodies is Quintet of flutes 2, alto 1 and bass 2. However, quartet with one flute can play without missing any notes.
Score and set of all parts are included as well as special parts -- Part for flute 1 & 2, plus Part for alto & bass for easy references.

Remember When it rained for flute choir/ensemble, by E. Mouquet and J. Groban.  Arranged for the #3rd annual  Millersville Flute day ( Professor M. Davis of flute) as well as premiered April 6th 2024, and dedicated in loving memory to Michael McCall.
 This pieve has many parts, piccolo, 1st c flute. 2nd c flute , 3rd c flute, 4th c flute , 5th c flute , 6th c flute ( designed for begiiner flutist so all flutists could play in this  group), 1st & 2nd Alto flute in G, 1st & 2nd Bass flutes , and optonal contra bass flute .

This arrangement is part of the Compostions that Care series, meaning that all procedes from this arrangement are given directly to charity . This particular arrangement, all the money goes to suicide prevention and mental health.

Josef Anton Bruckner was a deeply religious man.  Born in Austria, his father was his first music teacher who taught him to play the organ.  It was noted that he was so dedicated to music that he often practiced up to 12 hours a day.

This Ave Maria was performed during his debut as a composer and conductor in 1861.  It was later published in Vienna in 1867.

Although this is a sacred motet, as an instrumental piece, it can be performed in any setting.  

Scored for flute choir - 5 C, alto, and bass.  Optional parts are contrabass and cello (doubling the bass part).  This is not a difficult piece, but it requires good breath support to sustain long tones in tune at a slow tempo.

Duration: 2.5 minutes.
