The challenge for the ensemble is to ensure the soprano solo line in the Flute 1 part is clearly enough heard throughout, while the beautiful weaving lines of the other parts are still enjoyed. All seven parts are for C flutes; alto and bass flute are not needed, however, there are some important low Bs in the flute 7 part. Approximate difficulty level grades 5-6.
