The lyrics, full of inner rhymes and wit, explore far ranging aspects of love, such as unexpected encounters, tenderness, Schubert and his song Gretchen am Spinnrade, dreams, dating, some Hanky-panky, and the wrong and right moves of Mr. Smooth.
