Cetus is the sea dragon sent to destroy the kingdom of Cepheus and Cassiopeia, who tied their daughter to a rock as a sacrifice to the monster. Despite its huge jaws, scaly body and wicked coiled tail, Perseus the hero destroyed the monster and saved Andromeda.
