Rudy's Tail is a 32 bar Jazz tune which is a contrafact of the standard You're My Everything (harmonically enhanced by Freddie Hubbard's Blue Note recording which features Herbie Hancock.)Ā It is the opening track on my first album Rainsplash, which features Ralph Lalama on tenor sax, John Goldsby, bass and Tim Pleasant or Neil Tufano on drums.Ā The record received excellent reviews from jazz periodicals.
