Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.742752 By Juan María Solare. By Juan María Solare. 20th Century,Classical,Contemporary,Instructional. Score. 15 pages. Juan Maria Solare #350886. Published by Juan Maria Solare (A0.742752). Colores de un otoño incipiente -- Colors of an incipient autumn seven somewhat abstract pieces for piano Recording of Colores de un otoño incipiente - piano in several platforms Colores de un otoño incipiente -- on Spotify In this work, an idea that has haunted me for a long time crystallizes: that the titles of the individual pieces are read like lines of a poem. Colors of an incipient autumn The day declines. Coppery with old leaves, the earth awaits. Innocence Parched by the long vigils. Frugal in the face of excess, He resigned himself to the unfinished And he left a hole of light in this nothingness. Such a poem alludes without great subtlety to decadence and aging. The title Apergaminada por las largas vigilias is taken from a poem by Pedro Lastra. Y dejó un hueco de luz en esta nada comes from a micropoem attributed to Alejandro Güerri, written in memory of Javier Adúriz. This seventh piece, transparent and delicate, pictures a being definitively transformed into light. The idea of desmesura (excess) arises from the prologue by Javier Adúriz to his book Solos de conciencia (1985): Faced with the excess of death, consciousness perceives the weakness of its willful affirmation, the one for which it feels itself unique and safe from all decrepitude. Adúriz was one of the fundamental figures in my artistic training. And apparently he still is. Musically, this cycle of works abounds in harmony of chords by fourths in a minimalist neoclassical aesthetic. The way of working texturally with the piano as an instrument - my instrument - highlights the pedal, the resonances, the third dimension of sound. These seven somewhat abstract pieces were composed at the end of 2019 in and around Bremen, in several cases with my new-born daughter Laura in my arms, trying to put her at to sleep and staying asleep. This explains the cautious nature of the music and its prudent dynamics that never reach a mezzoforte. There were several unsuccessful attempts to release this recording (initially planned for September 2020, at the beginning of autumn in the northern hemisphere). Finally, the album will be released (on Spotify and other streaming platforms) on 22 April 2022, coinciding with what would be my father's 103rd birthday. It is also autumn but in the southern hemisphere. Recorded on a Steinway B grand piano (serial number: 568208) at the Musikschule Bremen (Germany) with two Neumann KM-184 microphones. Recording and mastering technician: Alexander Derben. For the artwork, the impressive photographer and visual storyteller Leon Drago, from London, has kindly authorised the use of his photograph Pathway, The Garden House and Pergola, Hampstead Heath extension, London. Piano Solo - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.596578 Composed by Juan María Solare. 20th Century,Contemporary,Standards. Score. 13 pages. Juan Maria Solare #4892571. Published by Juan Maria Solare (A0.596578). Meraki: five piano pieces Simple but not superficial music. Five Neo-classical, post-Romantic piano pieces with unconventional titles.  Listen to them here: https://juanmariasolare.bandcamp.com/album/meraki  Meraki, in recording for felted piano, will be released in 2020 (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.) through the label Double J Music. (felted piano sounds are produced by putting a piece of felt or cloth between the strings and the hammers.)   Meraki (Greek) is when you put your soul into something you are doing. Meraki is a word that modern Greeks often use to describe what happens when you leave a piece of yourself (your soul, creativity, or love) in your work. When you love doing something, anything, so much that you put something of yourself into it.  Meraki means to do something with passion, with absolute devotion, with undivided attention. Meraki is derived from the Turkish Merak (Labor of love, to do something with pleasure). Usually applied to tasks, usually, creative or artistic tasks, but can be applied to any task at all. Lumokinesis (4:00). Lumokinesis is the ability to manipulate and control the element light at will. Kenopsia (4:00). Kenopsia is the eerie atmosphere of a place usually full of peple, but now abandoned and calm. Ataraxia (4:30). Tranquility, imperturbability, absence of wishes or fears. Petricor (3:30). Petrichor is the earthy scent produced when rain falls on dry soil. Exulansis (3:45). The tendency to stop talking of one's experiences because people cannot reate to them.

Piano Solo - Digital Download SKU: A0.596506 Composed by Juan María Solare. 20th Century,Concert,Contemporary,Standards,World. Score. 10 pages. Juan Maria Solare #3363803. Published by Juan Maria Solare (A0.596506). Juan María Solare:  Acuarelas junto al río inmóvil (Watercolours alongside the still river)  five nocturnes for piano solo The still river is the River Plate; the novelist Eduardo Mallea (1902-1982) refers to Buenos Aires as the city next to the still river, an allusion to its lack of haste. This cycle of piano pieces is a collection of five short nocturnes. The first four Acuarelas were composed in Buenos Aires between 9th and 12th April 2007, the fifth piece was conceived on 4th May and written down on 6th May 2007. All five pieces have practically the same formal structure. Concerning the musical language or style, I would classify this work under contemporary classical with interferences from modern jazz and new tango (imagine Astor Piazzolla listening to a recording of Thelonious Monk playing preludes of Alexander Scriabin). Single titles and approximate durations I - Bruma matinal  (Morning Mist) [1'10] II - Flecha flotante  (Floating Arrow) [1'00] III - Vaivén de los juncos  (Sawying Reeds) [1'15] IV - Orilla urbana  (Urban Shore) [2'00] V - Incandescencia estática  (Static Incandescence) [0'45] ISWC (International Standard Musical Work Code): T-802.466.008-1 The Acuarelas were recorded by Juan María Solare in London on Friday 23rd May 2014. Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.596530 Composed by Juan María Solare. 20th Century,Latin,Standards,Wedding. Score. 7 pages. Juan Maria Solare #3682589. Published by Juan Maria Solare (A0.596530). Gazing is a post-romantic piano prelude composed in Bremen, Germany, between 29 November and 5 December 2016. Its duration is about 4'30. The world premiere (by the composer) was at the church St. Martin within Ludgate, London, on 20 Febuary 2017. To gaze means to look steadily and intently, as with great curiosity, interest, pleasure, or wonder. Gaze is often indicative of wonder, fascination, awe, or admiration, as in the sentence We spent the evening gazing at the stars. Gazing is part of the (upcoming) album From a window, scheduled for March 2019 on Spotify and all major (and some minor) streaming platforms and online shops. Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.596634 Composed by Juan María Solare. 20th Century,Instructional,Wedding. Score. 6 pages. Juan Maria Solare #6681313. Published by Juan Maria Solare (A0.596634). Juan María Solare: Show Me the Path. piano solo Neoclassical music. Optimistic, warm, melodic, tranquil. Show me the path to where? - Towards self-realisation? - Towards the roots? - Towards a happy future? The reality was much more prosaic: what inspired this title was a mere commercial advertisement that pretended to sell me the path to gaining thousands of followers in a few days. This prompted my sceptical response. It is thus demonstrated that everything, even the banal, can be profitable and an inspiration source. This 3:10 piano prelude was composed on 7 May 2021 in Bremen, Germany. A recording of Show Me the Path, by the composer at the piano, was released through the label frtyfve (which licenced it from Janus Music & Sound, the artist's own label). 'Show me the Path' reached 'number one', i.e. It was placed at the top of Apple Music's playlist Piano Chill in the last days of December 2021. To this day, it remains on this playlist, where it receives more than 10,000 daily streams. https://open.spotify.com/track/5IdWQ6cbhF4ZZNjkU8hV3MShow Me the Path [Muéstrenme el sendero] piano solo Música neoclásica.

Easy Piano - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.596592 Composed by Juan María Solare. 20th Century,Contemporary,Sacred,Standards. Score. 8 pages. Juan Maria Solare #5799759. Published by Juan Maria Solare (A0.596592). About the music Both pieces of this diptych are miniatures with a structure quite similar to each of the pieces of the Album für die Jugend Opus 68 by Robert Schumann. The melodies are strongly rooted in Japanese music (particularly obvious in the second piece). Aesthetically, this is neoclassical music (a quite broad concept nowadays). Fans of Erik Satie, Ludovico Einaudi or Joep Beving will possibly feel at home. Both pieces were composed on 6 June 2020 (the first one with my daughter Laura sleeping on my breast). Find this music soon on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube or any other streaming platform (either under my name or performed by other pianists, possibly Iannis Eralos). Total duration: ca. 5:15.https://open.spotify.com/album/27MbJnfPjcolbQZAmNs8tKWeep Because Its Over: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWflYuEoLy8Smile Because It Happened: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SQFUlb7lFgAbout the titlesIn a poem by the German Romantic poet Ludwig Jacobowski titled Leuchtende Tage (Radiant Days) and published in August 1899, he writes:Nicht weinen, weil sie vorüber!Lächeln, weil sie gewesen!Literally:Don't cry because they are over (they: the radiant days)Smile because they happened.Usually it is quoted this way:Don't cry because it’s overSmile because it happened. For my piece, I adapted this idea und -not quite humbly- think that is better now: Do weep because it’s overBut also smile because it happened Why is it better now? Because… where is the issue with weeping? The first step is to accept that pain exists. Nobody has the moral authority to deny you the possibility of crying. Weeping is not a shame or a disgrace. Besides, only he who weeps is credible when he laughs.  By the way, these words are sometimes attributed to Confucius. I leave to you the task of determining whether Jacobowski borrowed this thought from him.
