Asleep in the Deep. This beautiful, lyrical piano arrangement of the 1890’s parlor song by H. W. Petrie and Arthur J. Lamb is a wonderful piece to learn and play for fun and for recital. Arranged for intermediate piano. As an etude, this piece emphasizes long melodic phrases, right hand versus left hand dynamics, many successive repeated chords, left hand scalar passages, and a dramatic ad lib section at the end. Includes helpful fingering suggestions.

Song Description 
　This is a jazz fusion classic from Chick Corea's 1972 Return To Forever album, Light As A Feather, with lyrics by Al himself. 
　The synthesizer solo was played by Larry Williams, a keyboardist and saxophonist of the fusion band Seawind, who skillfully used upper structure triad arpeggios to drive the song in a wide range. 
　Al's scat solo in the latter half of the song is a highlight. It starts with a relaxed phrase, moving in a close range in the first half, and shows a sign of excitement with flutter tangling in D (a technique unique to wind instruments that makes the sound tremble by fine movements of the tongue) at the beginning of the second half. The last four bars of the song are a perfect blend of alternating scales and blue notes, folding in exquisite ups and downs, and finally resolving to B major at the end. 
　In the chord progression, the second half of [B] and Gmaj7 (two beats after Dmaj7) in [E] and [M] are not Chick Corea's original, but he seems to use them in this arrangement.

Chopsticks Boogie is arranged in a fast boogie style,

Chopsticks (original name The Celebrated Chop Waltz) is a simple, widely known waltz for the piano. Written in 1877, it is the only published piece by the British composer Euphemia Allen (under the pseudonym Arthur de Lulli).

Euphemia Amelia Nightingale Allen (1861–1948) was a British composer. She composed the song The Celebrated Chop Waltz or now known as Chopsticks in 1877, at the age of 16, under the pseudonym Arthur de Lulli. She was the sister of music publisher Mozart Allen. Allen was the daughter of William Elder Allen, a well-known dancing instructor in Glasgow, and Agnes Allen (née Letham). The 1901 Scotland Census states her occupation as 'teacher of the piano forte'. At the time of the census she was living with her brother E. J. Mozart Allen, his wife Christina, and their father William along with Mozart and Christina's three children. According to her death certificate, Allen was a Music Publisher (retired). She never married.
