It features the traditional Classical sonatina form:
Mm. 1-25: Exposition of the first theme in B flat Major
Mm. 25-45: Development starting with the main theme in F Major and eventually modulating back to B flat Major
Mm. 46-68: Recapitulation this time with both the first and second themes and codetta in B flat Major
Mm. 69-end: Coda reinforcing the main key of B flat Major
In measures 19-20 and 63-64, the short appogiaturas are to be played very quickly, almost simultaneously with the following main note.
This piece contain only the first movement.

Prelude in B Minor is an original piano composition written on October 27, 2015. It is in a classical style and is an arpeggiation exercise for the right hand. It begins in B Minor, moves to B Major, and then returns to B Minor. This is a four voice fugue. Although tonal, the main subject carries all twelve tones, and only a few of them are repeated within the subject. This technique is similar to that found in the subject from J.S. Bach's Fugue No. 24 in B Minor from The Well Tempered Clavier, Book 1. Throughout the fugue, Episode passages are clearly indicated by key modulations shown among triplets. Once more, I have established a journey from B major to B major, but rather than modulating by descending chromatic steps, I have used the circle of fifths. .

The Adagio in B minor, K. 540, is a composition for piano solo by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. He entered it into his Verzeichnis aller meiner Werke (Catalogue of all my Works) on 19 March 1788.

At 57 measures, the length of the piece is largely based on the performer's interpretation, including the decision of whether to do both repeats; it may last between 5+1�2 and 16 minutes. The key of B minor is very rare in Mozart's compositions; it is used in only one other instrumental work, the slow movement from the Flute Quartet No. 1 in D major, K. 285.

The Austrian composer and academic Gerhard Präsent has made an arrangement for string quartet in four movements Fantasy Quartet in D in which this piece acts as the third one.
