Published by Lyons Music Services (A0.767432). This is an Advanced Intermediate piece from my new series of easy piano music. It was originally a piece for brass quintet, but it transfers very well onto piano. It follows the dance-form quite closely and is in a minor key. There is a strong emphasis on the first beat of the bar and there must be a clear gap between the stressed crotchet and the following minim whenever that occurs. This piece would suit advanced intermediate players because of the semiquavers in the fourth variation.

The Bridge At Remagen ranks as one of Elmer Bernstein’s best film scores, which he wrote in 1969.  Sadly, the original score was lost. Only one other arrangement (for brass band) is known to exist. The present arrangement is believed to be the first piano arrangement to have been published.It’s a great film score, as one would expect from Bernstein, and well deserves to be shared with other musicians.
