At the time I was dealing with aggressive bullying and tremendous anger. I wrote the first movement while I was in Highschool and found myself becoming the bully and my rage turned to sorry for myself. The third movement was written in the style of a funeral march my freshman year of college as I was being kicked out of a religious institution due to my sexuality. I have been perfecting these melodies over the years and it's so cathartic to premiere this piece.This dark and brooding piece was performed and recorded by the pianistEdward Cohen in October of 2020. www.EdwardCohen.co.uk
