Jeff Bjorck's original solo piano arrangement of this classic English hymn melody by C. Hubert H. Parry debuted on Bjorck's album/CD Pure Piano Portraits and also appears on his album/CD This I Know: Ageless Hymns of Faith. This stirring hymn melody is one of Bjorck's favorites and was used as the theme for the movie Chariots of Fire (1981) which takes its title from lyrics of this piece.
