This piece is dedicated to my mother,Betty Eileen Searle,who died on 1st December 2023 at the age of 102.

I composed it many years ago for my friend, Rosemary. The latest version, 'To Betty', shows how it has changed, particularly in the opening section which leads to the main theme. This theme is repeated with subtle changes.
