Piano Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1076355 Composed by Jacques Demy, Michel Legrand, and Norman Gimbel. Arranged by Lydia McCool. Broadway,Classical,Contemporary,Film/TV,Instructional,Musical/Show. Score. 4 pages. Lydia McCool #680507. Published by Lydia McCool (A0.1076355). This arrangement takes the theme from I will Wait For You (movie/musical The Umbrellas of Cherbourg), adding original material for introduction, interlude and ending to the music. The interlude runs were inspired by Chopin before the key change from A minor to D minor. The arpeggio pattern on the left hand became more sophisticated after key change. This is suitable for early advanced piano players. It also introduces them to the playing of polyrhythm passages in Chopin's nocturnes. It makes a great performance piece for themed concert, and adds great enjoyment for pianists who enjoy the challenge of more substantial arrangement of the movie music.
