The song catered to a wartime nostalgia for songs about European cities following the Second World War Battle of France (which brought Paris under Nazi control), with A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square also proving popular. The song won the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1941. This was Kern's second Academy Award for Best Original Song (following his success with The Way You Look Tonight in 1936), and Hammerstein's first. Władziu Valentino Liberace(May 16, 1919 – February 4, 1987) was an American pianist, singer, and actor.  A child prodigy born in Wisconsin to parents of Italian and Polish origin, he enjoyed a career spanning four decades of concerts, recordings, television, motion pictures, and endorsements. Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1463222 By Phil Wickham. By Jonathan Lindley Smith and Phil Wickham. Arranged by Brian Buda. Christian,Contemporary,Easter,Praise & Worship,Religious. Score. 16 pages. Budaful music #1041916. Published by budaful music (A0.1463222). This is a piano solo version of The Jesus Way. Here's a vocal chart (SMD) with an included lead sheet. Sensitively written with the lyrics in mind, this keyboard chart plays well as an opener or postlude! The old song, 'I Have Decided to Follow Jesus', is sprinkled throughout the arrangement inbetween the verses and choruses. It's easy to play through the entire arrangement, although it could get a bit long– as long as Phil's recording– which is why there's a built in shortcut enabling it to be trunckated. See the first page of music for the perfomance details. 3 key options available: C, B, and Bb. (It was originally arranged in Bb, then transposed to the other keys. Some chord voicings and fingerings might need to be adjusted in the other keys.
