Composed by Jason Germain and Marc Martel. Arranged by Stephen R Dalrymple (Dalrymple Designs). Christmas,Holiday,Praise & Worship,Rock,Sacred. Score. 16 pages. Stephen R Dalrymple #714181. Published by Stephen R Dalrymple (A0.1112001).

How Many Kings? by Marc Martel and Jason Germain
♫ with How Great Our Joy (German folk carol)
♫ Martel and Germain have raised several important questions in their lyrics. How many kings have abdicated their thrones (for you and me?) How many lords have abandoned their palaces for you and me? How many of the rich and famous have renounced all their riches and glory for you and me? How many fathers have given up their sons to die for you and me?
♫ This is the mystery of Christmas, the mystery of the incarnation, the eternal, infinite Creator of the Universe, irreversibly becoming flesh and blood! The story of Christmas is a love story from beginning to end!

By Jeff Bjorck. By George Job Elvey. Arranged by Jeff Bjorck. 19th Century,Christian,Religious,Sacred,Traditional. Score. 7 pages. Pure Piano Music by Jeff Bjorck #850977. Published by Pure Piano Music by Jeff Bjorck (A0.1257747).

Jeff Bjorck's original solo piano arrangement of this classic hymn melody by George J. Elvey is from Bjorck's album/CD This I Know: Ageless Hymns of Faith. Many listeners will recognize this melody as Crown Him With Many Crowns, but this hymn also uses this tune. The lyrics exhort the listener, Give to the winds thy fears. Hope and be undismayed. God hears thy sighs and counts thy tears. God shall lift up thy head. It is often challenging to give our fears to the wind. Thus, in Bjorck's arrangement, a repeating bridge and the coda were created to remind the listener of the wind.

By Stephen R Dalrymple. By William Dix. Arranged by Stephen R Dalrymple (Dalrymple Designs). Christmas,Sacred. Score. 10 pages. Stephen R Dalrymple #3070587. Published by Stephen R Dalrymple (A0.818214).

What Child is This?

♫ Original piano arrangement by Stephen R Dalrymple

♫ Based on the public domain carol What Child is This? (lyrics by William C. Dix 1865, melody GREENSLEEVES 16th Century English folk tune, harmonized by Sir John Stainer, 1871) and Crown Him with Many Crowns (lyrics by Matthew Bridges 1852, melody ‘DIADEMATA’ by George J. Elvey 1868)

♫ This song poses (and answers) an ancient question still pondered today. Who is this Jesus of Nazareth? a myth? a lunatic? a fraud? a Jewish zealot whose story was altered by his followers? a demigod? or the Messiah of Israel and the Son of God who reveals the one true God?

♫ The hymn Crown Him with Many Crowns starkly contrasts with the gentle lullaby, suggesting other facets of the identity of the babe in the manger.
