Written May 23, 2020, this is an original piano arrangement of the well known holiday song, Toyland by Victor Herbert and Glen MacDonaugh. Toyland was originally in the operetta, Babes in Toyland which was originally performed in 1903. This beautiful nostalgic song has been sung by many singers including, Doris Day, Perry Como, and Johnny Mathis. It is a beautiful sentimental Christmas song and I actually felt a little sentimental writing it remembering Christmas when I was very young. How did the years pass by so quickly? James Michael Stevens is a prolific composer residing in Nashville, TN and serves as the Music Department Chairman of Welch College. Now in the Book, Quiet Christmas Piano.
