This American Jazz Standard is scored for a jazz chamber string orchestra with rhythm section. One amplified bass is preferred but all acoustics basses may play the written bass line except for the jazz improvisation section. A suggested written solo is provided to assist the young jazz violinist improviser. All string parts remain in first position. A violin 3 part is supplied to bolster the viola section.
