Predictions of the Velvet Gentleman is a neoclassical piano prelude composed in Bremen, Germany, on 8 October 2017. Its duration is about 4'00 (or slightly more).

The velvet gentleman is, of course, Erik Satie, who was known for the seven grey velvet corduroy suits which he proceeded to wear, with no variation, for ten years. However, there are no musical quotations of Satie's music in this piece.

This piece has not been yet premiered at concert, however there is a studio recording (by the composer) in the pipeline:

This edition of Just Sing is based on the wildly popular tune at the end of the Trolls World Tour movie. This edition is simplified for early intermediate level pianists with perhaps an average of two to four years of experience.

Melodic and harmonic material is simplified substantially in this version as well as in our easy piano edition.  As in our easy edition, the right hand rhythms in this edition include a lot of the syncopation of the original song, but anyone who has loves Just Sing and has sung along with it will have no problem with that part. The left hand rhythms have been simplified a bit, but they feel complex agains the right hand rhythms.  This arrangement is a half step higher than what is sung in Trolls World Tour.

The main difference between this version and our easy piano version is the rhythmic difficulty in the left hand.

The pieces of this piano album have been composed between 2011 to 2018. All of them belong to the aesthetic of neo-classical music, in some cases with a salt of tango flavour (clear in Premonición).

 

The fingerings in the scores are only suggestions - albeit meaningful ones. Be sure that they have been tested in practice. Those are the fingerings that I actually use.
