Piano - intermediate to difficult - Digital Download SKU: S9.Q53320 Op. 77/6. Composed by Moritz Moszkowski. Edited by Robert Schafer and Wilhelm Ohmen. This edition: Sheet music. (c) 2020 Schott Music GmbH & Co. KG, Mainz. Classical. Downloadable. Volume op. 77/6. 7 pages. Schott Music - Digital #Q53320. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q53320). Ignaz Paderewski once remarked that, after Chopin, Moritz Moszkowski knew best how to write for the piano. Moszkowski was one of the most successful German pianists at the end of the 19th century. At the height of his fame, in 1897, he settled in Paris. Among his most popular works are the ‘15 Études de Virtuosité’ op. 72, the extremely effective piano piece ‘Étincelles’ (sparks) op. 36 no. 6, often played as an encore by Horowitz, and the ‘5 Spanish Dances’ op. 12 for piano duet. His ’10 Pièces mignonnes’ op. 77 (plate number 28177-2) were published in three volumes by Schott in 1907. The Tarantella op. 77/6 is in the second volume and still popular today.

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.977030 Composed by Paul SanGregory. Contemporary. Score. 10 pages. Distant Engraver Music #3534593. Published by Distant Engraver Music (A0.977030). These pieces are like little objects that are simple and direct, yet slightly eccentric. They often seem to be based on traditional notions of harmony or phrasing, but they don’t always get those aspects exactly right. It’s as if what appears to be common little figurines, upon closer inspection, reveal themselves to be more varied, colorful, complex and unpredictable than a quick glance might reveal. I - Mutable Phrase This piece sounds a bit obsessive because all the phrases begin the same way. It almost sounds like somebody repeating a simple one-phrase statement, but constantly changing it with the hope of writing a perfectly nuanced phrase. II - Sparks in Emptiness The use of the sostenuto pedal in this piece creates an effect of reverberating empty space. Within that space, little bursts of energy begin appearing. It sounds like flashes of light in an empty dark space. III - Silent Blue Tides This piece is based on a slowly moving and somewhat unpredictable chord progression. A duo of simple melodies then floats on that chord progression, rising and falling with the moods of that large blue sea.

Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1247123 By Bill Whitley. By Bill Whitley. Chamber,Classical,Contemporary,Religious,Sacred. Score. 4 pages. Musica Semplice #841677. Published by Musica Semplice (A0.1247123). Exploring feelings of abandonment and isolation....In 1985, while still thinking of myself as songwriter, a mentor presented me with the challenge of setting three Psalms to music.  But the catch was that these settings would have to be solo piano pieces: Songs Without Words. How Long Will You Forget Me? (Psalm 13) was the first composition to come out of that challenge and my first notated instrumental piece. Out of the Depths (Psalm 130) was the second. (I still have yet to compose the third one.)I've written and discarded more pieces than I can count, but this  simple little piece has stuck with me.  I can see sparks in it of works that were to come later.  Simple and naive as it is, it still sounds like my own voice.

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1337248 By Niccolò Trivieri. By Niccolò Trivieri. Arranged by Niccolò Trivieri. Contemporary,Film/TV,New Age,Pop,Spiritual. Score. 6 pages. Niccolò Trivieri #923057. Published by Niccolò Trivieri (A0.1337248). A message from the author:This piece is very important to me, each note has its own meaning. The video - with its simple sound and visual effects - tells a story, but... I leave the pleasure of discovering new worlds with this music to your imagination! Inebriate yourself with the mystery of these particular, dark harmonies... and surprise yourself with unexpected sparks of light scattered here and there. This music is for you if you love rainy days, atmospheres of nostalgic beauty and some disturbing little vibes from exploring abandoned houses: there is magic in everything around us, just open your eyes and listen more carefully. This piece came to you for a reason: never stop believing in what your Heart feels; even if you can't prove it at the moment and even if the world works against you. If your Heart is right, in the end you will always have answers, you will always get what you want. Heart was born precisely from this feeling... the certainty that sooner or later, everything will arrive. This composition is definitely a message: in the certainty that it will reach the right person, it is (obviously) also dedicated to all of you who listen to it and play it, so that it can inspire you to never give up and explore the innermost parts of yourself... as a musician, this is my main mission and my joy! May this piece resonate in as many places as possible! Thank you so much.NiccolòP.S. there are some suggestions in the score to make the piece a little easier and with fewer jumps. Also feel free to make a few small changes to the rhythm of the irregular groups only if they are too difficult for you (even if they have a precise meaning) playing them simultaneously with the accompaniment notes of the left hand, and not 'out of phase'. After all, the most important thing is... Heart!
