This is an original cadenza for the first movement of Mozart's piano Concerto in D minor K466, probably his best and most known piano concerto. It's not an extremely demanding cadenza: it just requires cleanliness and precision at the beginning and at the end, while the middle section has to be more romantic and free-flowing. Enjoy!

This is a waltz in D minor for piano solo that I have composed in 2020 and slightly modified in 2021. If played as I imagine it its length should be around 4'30. It starts simply, with a melancholic melody (A) and then it switches to a difficult section (B) in which the player will need power - especially on the left hand - and technical skills. The dynamic and mood contrast between A and B should be huge. The main theme then comes back, but very modified and contaminated (A1). One last theme is exposed (C) before the reprise (A) and the conclusion of the music piece.
There are many modulations in this waltz but none of them leads to a stable tonaily change.

This waltz blends melancholic undertones with moments of luminous clarity. Crafted for intermediate to advanced players, this piece invites you on a journey through a romantic and expressive melody, weaving through a tapestry of emotions. The composition opens with a  introspective theme, gradually unfolding into a section in a major key, offering a serene and uplifting contrast. The melancholic theme comes back at the end, with a few changes and a short coda.

I have composed this piano piece in one day, on the 16th of January 2013. 
This is the original version. Last year I arranged, transposed and slightly modified it for violin and piano.

Death of a Hero is a song without words for piano solo which I composed in 1994 at the age of 20. Very recently I slightly modified a few things in it before recording it (see YouTube link). 
In many ways I consider this piece as my Opus One, the first composition I was really proud of :)
