The Long and Winding Road is one of my favourite Beatles songs from their 1970 album Let It Be. It is a blilliant song and one of the best songs ever written! The Long and Winding Road was written by Paul McCartney and credited to Lennon-McCartney. It´s rather a sad song. McCartney told his biographer Barry Miles in the 1990s that the song was all about the unattainable; the door you never quite reach...the road that you never get to the end of .

One of the most tender love songs in The Beatles catalogue, Here, There and Everywhere is simply constructed with a syncopated melodic line played against a rhythmically straight accompaniment.  The left hand part does include chordal patterns that stretch beyond an octave, but they are repeated and predictable.  Once mastered, the left hand part is well within reach of the early intermediate player.
