These simple moments were composed in Bremen, Germany, between 13 and 19 September 2018.
The structure of the whole cycle of five pieces is somehow symmetric, since the pieces number 2 and 4 are similar in character, tempo and ryhthmic pattern. Also, the central piece is the most different of all others. The fifth piece, however, doesn't recall the first one (except that both share the same speed), but rather opens the cycle and points out to somewhere else.
You can also find a certain system in the keys: the tonal centres are respectively Db, D, F#, B, A. If you order these pitches wisely, you get a usual chord: B minor 7th with 9th (B, D, F, A, C#). Does this detail make the music better? Certainly, since the composer is a fetichist.
