Grim Grinning Ghosts is the theme song for the world-famous attraction The Haunted Mansion at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort. This arrangement of the upbeat spooky song is written for Elementary Solo Piano (Level 3-4). Written in the original key, the left hand features a broken chordal pattern for much of the song. The right hand features the catchy melody which is repeated throughout in different minor keys (accidentals are used instead of key signatures to maximize ease of reading). How about a blast from the past in the form of a highly playable dance?
The romantic ballad from Disney's classic animated film Cinderella (1950) originally ”sung” by Cinderella and Prince Charming as they finally dance together at the ball, arranged for easy intermediate piano. The accelerating introduction leads to the elegant melody with light accompaniment in the left hand (and very little beyond beat 3 of each measure when the right hand demands attention). Then, material from the intro brings the lift into a new key and the melody up an octave leading to a dramatic chord resolution at the words “dreaming of” and a choice of endings.
