Piano Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1154044 Composed by Daniel Nicolae Dubei. Classical. Score. 9 pages. Daniel Nicolae Dubei #754315. Published by Daniel Nicolae Dubei (A0.1154044). I don't want it bogged down too much in the baggage of Hamlet, which is obviously impossible. The words in the title matter, and Shakespeare words is the best. The basic idea of the piece is death. In the first half, the protagonist feels death approaching. The middle march section is death's grasp, and the second half is the after-life dream. Sometimes we feel miserable with our lives and just simply desire that escape into a world that cannot harm us anymore. And sometimes it is okay to feel that, and to express that. Whatever may come after death, in the end, doesn't matter, because death is such a finality to life. I know for me, this piece lifts up my spirits and helps me enjoy life more. Our ability to express, particularly through music, the pains we may be feeling, is one of the greatest gifts we humans possess. I hope everyone is able to enjoy this music and my expression.

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1031550 Composed by Andrew Kierszenbaum. 20th Century,Contemporary,Romantic Period. Score. 12 pages. Andrew Kierszenbaum #3447521. Published by Andrew Kierszenbaum (A0.1031550). My first score of 2018! It lasts about 6 minutes and is of about intermediate/advanced difficulty.  It is the result of many hours, drafts, ideas, scribbles, and edits, BUT- above all, it is a labor of love and I hope THAT shines through the music the most... For this piece, I was inspired by dances and fantasies of the romantic period, especially those by Chopin and Schumann. However, I believe the piece doesn't feel trapped in an imitation of the music of a specific era. It uses the romantic and classical traditions as baselines and, in my opinion, transcends them. A major work I was inspired by is the Polonaise-Fantasy by Chopin. I wanted to create a dreamy, ballade-like, somewhat freeform/improvised landscape of texture and feeling that explores the waltz form but also infuses some elements of sonata form and theme and variations.I would put the piece at an intermediate/advanced level, but would definitely recommend this to teachers and students alike (I have already given it to a few in my own circle). The fee for this piece goes directly to me, so I can continue following my passion by composing and teaching students the wonderful gift that is piano playing! Please enjoy, and I would love to hear what you think of this one!Sincerely,Andrew

Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.933947 Composed by Jasmine LAI. Concert,Contemporary. Score. 7 pages. Jasmine LAI #6565277. Published by Jasmine LAI (A0.933947). This is my first time I have written a piece that doesnot have a standard structure. It is also the first time that I have expressed my feelings about Australia through music, inspired by Lawson’s moving poem. The reason why I name my piece ‘Consciousness2.0’ is because it depicts a picture of how people rise and fall in life. An example of this is what happened during the Australian bushfires, which was a time when people were very aware of what was happening.  Consciousness means to be aware and responsive to the surroundings, and it can also mean a person’s perspective of events.  My piece begins with a soft introduction, which describes the life of Australia and its unique environment. From the bustling cities to the open country, there is always some life around Australia. Sometimes there is also some wild weather, which is represented in the arpeggiated left hand (bars 10-14). The story then shifts its focus to the animals, through short 2-part phrase in bars 23-26. The animals areenjoying their time in nature. The phrase is in Aeolian mode, so there is a bit of mystery instead of having an obvious key. Then, the parallel fifths depict the openness and vastness of the land. The transition is shown in bars 32-34 by a smooth 4-part phrase going downwards. The next fast section (bars 35-47) describes the rise of panic, just like a howling heat of the bushfire. The chromatic 7th chords (bars 36,38) make a sense of tension, and after 3 times, the chromaticism makes its way to a recent memory of the rushing semiquavers (bars 43-44) After the bushfires came closer, animals panicked as they rushed and left their precious homes. It was devastating to see how many people were affected, with houses destroyed, people and animals burning into the ashes (bars 48-54).  Then there is another new section (bars 55-68) which describes the uncertainty, for example, the right-handquavers describe a flashback of nature planning itself to create a bushfire, or the times when people were planning a solution to this incident. The uncertainty was unfolded when the fast right hand semiquavers come back, (bars 69-82) creating a whoosh of destruction disappointment and adjustment.  The last part is the ending of story (bars 84 to end). Though the fire has made a lot of destruction, with Aussie spirit, there is always hope that everyone can rebuild a new and better community in the future

Piano - Digital Download SKU: A0.1069947 Composed by Steven H. Boothe. Arranged by Ashley Ivers. Christian,Pop,Sacred. Accompaniment. Duration 236. Boothe Publishing #4632021. Published by Boothe Publishing (A0.1069947). 1st Kings 19: Verses 11 & 12 When Elijah the Prophet of God killed all the false prophets of King Ahab and Queen Jezebel, the Queen promised to kill him by sundown the next day. He fled for his life and ran for 40 days and 40 nights all the way to Mount Horeb, the mount of God. When he arrived, the Lord asked him what he was doing there. When he explained it to the Lord, the Lord told him to go stand out upon the mountain before Him. And behold the Lord passed by and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord; But the Lord was not in the wind: And after the wind an earthquake; But the Lord was not in the earthquake: And after the earthquake a fire; But the Lord was not in the fire: And after the fire a still small voice. God wasn't in the mighty wind. God wasn't in the terrible earthquake. God wasn't in the fire. God was the still small voice. That is where I can find Him still. That is what makes me responsible for my actions. I have the still small voice telling me what is right and what is wrong. It is called, the light of Christ. It is revelation from God. I can try to drown it out and pretend I don't hear it. However, pretending doesn't alter the fact that God's still small voice is always there for those who will listen.

Piano Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1015500 Composed by Dakota Anthony. Contemporary. Score. 13 pages. Dakota Anthony #4785575. Published by Dakota Anthony (A0.1015500). This is a 5-6 minute long piano solo piece that uses styles from blues, jazz, and contemporary genres. If you have questions please contact me at one of the following:Facebook page- https://www.facebook.com/dakanthony1Email- dakanthony1@gmail.comI write a poem for all of my songs. Hopefully it helps give a little meaning to its purpose! One songIt just takes one song to move myself to another world,And my heart beats faster. One songMakes me feel I can conquer every problem-All the world's disasters. One songIt makes my heart break and mend itself overAnd overAnd overUntil it's a whole new heartWith a whole new stature. One songI hear joy. I hear peace.But it's all for myself.It doesn't even matter.One songI don't know how to share what I hear.One songSo what I hear disappears.One songTurns to none, so I fear,And try to find another one songThat I can hold dear. One song,But it all happens again. One songBreaks a heart that's already bee mendedBy the first one song,And the heart's offended.Now there's two songs;The one song has ended.Two songs Clash and pretend thatTwo songsAre unique but they can't be - insteadTwo songsAffected the same heart.With two songsThe first's uniqueness is upended. Two songsSplit the heartHalf as powerfulAs the start,So I need another two one songsTo double the power. But the result is the same, And the dilution gets stronger. And what was difficult to share initiallyBecomes impossible because my heart isn't free. It's torn into a million piecesEach tied to a one song, each song with the thesisThat I want to share my songs to everyoneBecause of how it broke and mended my heart. But too many songs made my heart hardenedUntil the songs hardly affect a heart - just scar it.By the time I learn how to share any songThey'll all be goneJust the heart's shadow of what it longed to share. So I watch others to see if my one song was a myth. They all have one songs creating the semblance of mended heart. So my one song could only make another heart splitDiluting their one song to half as powerful as its start.

Piano Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1495486 By Damien Gauci. By Damien Gauci. Classical,Contemporary. Score. 5 pages. Damien Gauci #1072003. Published by Damien Gauci (A0.1495486). What a relief! It was just another squirrel all along! Whiskers and the other squirrel are cautious to meet each other but they walk up to each other slowly and carefully, ready to run at any moment in case something happens. Whiskers thinks to himself about all that fear and chaos he felt earlier that was all for nothing, he is very relieved to find out that the scary creature he was so scared about was just another squirrel.Whiskers doesn’t have many other friends so he’s happy to find someone else in these woods to become friends with. The scary abandoned house that they’re in seems to fade away now that he feels comfortable with this other squirrel. What an adventure it has been so far, from finding this abandoned house to running for his life to making a new friend. I wonder what her name is?
But It Was Just Another Squirrel.
