PEPPERONI PIZZA PARTY is a quick and simple piece for your late beginner that only uses the C Major 5-Finger scale, in honor of National Pepperoni Pizza Day! This is a great, quick piece for your students to work on their C Major 5-Finger Position. The 8th notes in the song can be played straight or swung. Also note the tempo marking - “With Some Pep Quarter Note at 112”. The song is good for beginners at 16 measures! 

There are two versions of the song you can use with students:

• Version 1 with regular note heads.
• Version 2 with note names in the noteheads.

MELANCHOLY MACARONI is the first release of a project called A-B-C-Keys which is a collection of piano solos for each letter of the alphabet. This piece starts and ends in E-Minor and is set in a slow, lethargic tempo to portray sadness, or even depression. When planning the project, E-minor was selected for the letter M, and alliterations are fun - what’s weirder than sad pasta? As more songs from the project are written, collections will be released in a lead up to a whole book including all 26 letters of the alphabet.
