Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1284043 By Jeff Bjorck. By Jeff Bjorck. Arranged by Jeff Bjorck. 21st Century,Children,Contemporary,New Age. Score. 2 pages. Pure Piano Music by Jeff Bjorck #875215. Published by Pure Piano Music by Jeff Bjorck (A0.1284043). This original solo piano composition by Jeff Bjorck appears on his album/CD, Keepsakes in the Attic. Bjorck notes that, when he created this piece, he visualized an antique music box which--when played--would evoke nostalgic memories of a loving Grandmother playing the box for her grandchildren. The melody is reminiscent of old music box tunes, and it fades slowly as the piece ends, suggesting that the listener leaves the lid open so the echoes and memories can continue on in the listener’s heart.

Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1032967 Composed by Cecil Vineet Abhishek. Arranged by Cecil Vineet Abhishek. 20th Century,Contemporary,Romantic Period. Score. 7 pages. Cecil V Abhishek #5888313. Published by Cecil V Abhishek (A0.1032967). ‘December’ is a piano ballade in D minor, written in memory of the composer’s grandmother S Jayamma, who had passed away on the 10th of December 2019. This contemporary Nocturne starts off with an improvised recitative in F major, gradually establishing its rhythm and theme in D minor, the structure in its majority of which is reminiscent of some of W Beethoven’s Adagio-movements for solo piano. It then translates to a waltz in F major, and subsequently into A minor, before establishing the end with the introductory recitative. ‘December’ won Global Music Awards honors in the Contemporary Classical Music category in April 2020.

Piano - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1135096 Composed by Michael Giacchino. Arranged by Unimusic Academy (Academia Unimusica). Classical. Score (Chords/Lyrics). 4 pages. Unimusic Academy (Academia Unimusica) #735138. Published by Unimusic Academy (Academia Unimusica) (A0.1135096). The Married Life piece was the first assignment Michael Giacchino had on the film.[6] He explained: We knew that was going to be one of the most difficult scenes in the film, so we tackled that first, and I was just working really hard to make that scene really work because I knew that was going to inform the rest of the story.[7] Originally he had written a different piece to be played in that part of the film, but Pete Docter requested a song that would play as if from one's grandmother's music box. Giacchino subsequently conceived of the new composition. After recording the initial piece, they went back to make touch-ups at various points to match the emotional tone of the visual sequence.[8].

Piano Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1227890 Composed by Iain Laks. 21st Century,Classical,Contemporary,Romantic Period. Score. 10 pages. Iain Laks #823890. Published by Iain Laks (A0.1227890). This is a work for solo piano, in late Romantic style.  It is dedicated to the composer's grandmother, who was Russian in origin, and the title means 'I am from beloved Siberia'.The main motif at the start is based on a folk tune, 'Kamarinskaya'.  This opening section gives way to a cadenza which is followed by a harmonically tonal passacaglia, reminiscent of baroque style, and suggestive of a church atmosphere.  The final section is expressive and lyrical, accompanied by tremelos, then a flowing left hand.  There are many stormy moments in the piece, but it ends quietly. It is advanced in difficulty, post-ARSM level.

Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1435022 By Ivajla Kirova. By KEYA. 21st Century,Classical,New Age. Score. 8 pages. The Noise Factory #1015125. Published by The Noise Factory (A0.1435022). This was inspired by the story of a homeless man my grandmother met in her neighbourhood when she was young. Everyone thought he was insane but my grandmother did not think so since he always carried poetry writings and artworks with him wherever he went. My grandmother befriended him and during one of their conversations on the street he told her that he spent his life writing poems, drew portraits of the women he loved, and acknowledges that “life is nothing but a dream”. One day this homeless man disappeared and it wasn’t until a few weeks later that he was rumoured to have passed away one rainy night inside an abandoned house which was his childhood home. This piece intends to describe that man’s thoughts and feelings during his final moments: his lifetime memories, his final acceptance, and true inner peace before saying goodbye to this world.

Piano - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1473897 Composed by Sarah Fawcett. Classical,Instructional. Score (Chords/Lyrics). 23 pages. Songburd Music #1051618. Published by Songburd Music (A0.1473897). Some of you may know that there are numerous benefits to playing music for your baby both in utero and after birth, and one aim of these lullabies is to enhance your and your baby’s special journey through a shared, intimate musical experience. These lullabies can be played by anyone with some basic piano or guitar skills. They came about at the request of some of my adult piano students, particularly pregnant mothers, new mothers, grandmothers, and grandfathers seeking something easy to play, preferably with chord symbols, for their newborns and young children. And so, these seven lullabies came into being. They are simple to play. Some of you may choose to use the chord symbols to create the chords on the piano or guitar rather than the notated accompaniment and add the tune while playing to your little ones. Others may prefer to use the full accompaniment. Elder siblings, significant others, family friends, and relatives also enjoy playing and sharing these songs.I hope you enjoy playing and singing them and that they will become enduring memories of these special times in your shared lives. They are dedicated to the youngest members of my family and come with my warmest wishes.

Piano Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1110965 Composed by Adrienne Inglis (ASCAP). 20th Century,Classical,Historic,Multicultural,World. Score. 24 pages. Adrienne Inglis (ASCAP) #713232. Published by Adrienne Inglis (ASCAP) (A0.1110965). Colorful, challenging piano solo traces an Ojibwe family’s harrowing journey by canoe down the Brule River and across Lake Superior to safety Canoe (2022) by Adrienne Inglis (ASCAP) For solo piano Duration 9:22 Difficulty 5 advanced Canoe (2022) by Adrienne Inglis (ASCAP), commissioned by Dr. Joseph Choi for solo piano, tells a harrowing story through music of the composer’s Ojibwe ancestor, Wabegiah, and her three young children. Wabegiah grew up at Upper Lake St. Croix in Wisconsin, married the French trader Mr. Couture, and had three children. Mr. Couture died suddenly just as the tensions with the Sioux became quite threatening. To protect her children from being killed by the Sioux, she took them on the long journey in a birch bark canoe down the Brule River and along the coast of Lake Superior all the way to Sault Ste. Marie. As you would expect, much of the music represents water, but it also captures moments during their flight. Loud dissonant chords mark Mr. Couture’s death and Wabegiah’s grief. The unsettling fear motive in Locrian mode predominates as they begin to flee. As they head away from danger, the courage theme follows them downstream. In a dissonant conversation with an Ojibwe man on the Brule River, he refused to give the hungry travelers food, but told them to continue to the river’s mouth to find Wabegiah’s aunt and uncle. The restful and nourishing family time on the shores of Lake Superior allows for variations on the family theme, playful, sleepy, and reflecting on the coming of autumn. With the courage theme as the subject, a fugue tracks their difficult passage across Lake Superior to the safety of Sault Ste. Marie. Recounted by Eliza Morrison, a daughter from Wabegiah’s second marriage, this journey took place in the early 1830s. The three children were born in 1828, 1829, and 1830. The youngest of the children was Angelique, the composer’s great great grandmother.
