My goal is to create something that sounds beautiful as a standalone piece of music and, most importantly, that it also makes pianistic sense. Each of my arrangements is made for a specific student, so the results will vary in terms of playing level. Most decisions are based on their current skills and abilities, or where I would like for them to be when they complete the piece.  This arrangement was made for a late beginner. It is way easier than it looks, but beware of the octaves. Make sure your student's hand can reach. Believe it or not, my student was only in Federation Class Primary III! But she was able to learn this piece with no issues. It helped that she was obsessed with this music! It was one of the highlights at our recital. She totally nailed it.  Pedaling and fingering suggestions are included.

Fox originally composed Megalovania for a hack for EarthBound called Radiation's Halloween Hack, which he made. The theme would later be reused in vol. 6 of a webcomic known as Homestuck. Fox's theme was never really that popular, until he used it in his hit game Undertale. The game was so big that it caught the attention of the people over at Nintendo. They wanted to include one of Undertale's most beloved characters, Sans, as a Mii costume in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. A remixed version of Megalovania came with the Sans Mii Costume.
