Many consider this to be Elton John's greatest song. The melody fits well in the tessitura of the solo instrument and features some challenging rhythms for sight-reading. The arrangement is well suited for performance in church, nightclub or recital stage.

Score and part. 13 pages. DR GARY D BELSHAW #4631205. Published by DR GARY D BELSHAW (A0.796748). For the advanced intermediate saxophonist. Three-and-a-half minutes. 13 pages. This enormously popular tune translates so naturally for the solo saxophone with a more classical (serious concert music) feel. Not only is this a solid recital closer, it is an excellent choice for social obligations and for recruiting. Free improvisations are welcome.
