An early intermediate Bb saxophone solo with piano accompaniment, introducing the foundations of jazz improvisation and the 12 bar blues. Over two repetitions of the standard 12 bar blues pattern, the solo uses the American blues scale in G, swung quavers and jazz triplets to illustrate some easy riffs and ideas players can build on in their improvisations.
