Clarinet Choir,Woodwind Ensemble Bass Clarinet,Contra Alto Clarinet,E-Flat Clarinet - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.720556 Composed by Richard Rodgers. Arranged by Ralph Raymond Hays. Broadway,Film/TV,Musical/Show. 15 pages. Ralph Raymond Hays #3603305. Published by Ralph Raymond Hays (A0.720556). Lovingly crafted by an arranger who once portrayed Friedrich Von Trapp in a theatrical production, this setting of one of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s most recognized and cherished tunes is certain to captivate performers and audience members alike. The introduction will evoke images of alpine vistas and an obligato will bring to mind the semblance of a laughing brook. Rodgers’ vaulting melody and lush, piquant harmonies are further enriched by the arranger’s ornamental countermelodies and tonal embellishments. Sounding both familiar and fresh to the engaged listener, and befitting myriad occasions, this arrangement of The Sound of Music will enhance the repertoire of any ensemble. This arrangement can be combined with Prof. Hays' other arrangements to form a SOUND OF MUSIC Suite:https://www.sheetmusicplus.com/publishers/ralph-raymond-hays-sheet-music/3002340?narrow_by=the+sound...

Woodwind Ensemble Clarinet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.549213 Composed by Gabrieli. Arranged by James M. Guthrie, ASCAP. Renaissance,Standards. 45 pages. Jmsgu3 #3464933. Published by jmsgu3 (A0.549213). A musical monument: the first composition to employ dynamics. Minimum Instrumentation:  8 Bb clarinets, 1 alto clarinet, 1 contralto clarinet, 1 contrabass clarinet. Duration: 3:45 at half-note = 86. Innovations First of all, Gabrieli preferred sacred vocal and certainly instrumental music. Hence, he concentrated on music that consequently took advantage of resonance and likewise reverberation for maximum effect. Seems like Gabrieli may have invented dynamics – or was rather the first to indicate them such as in his Sonata Pian’ e Forte. Consequently, he was also a pioneer in spatial techniques. He therefore developed and used very specific notation to indicate instrumentation. Gabrieli experimented with assembling massive instrumental forces into isolated groups separated by space. In this way, he consequently contributed heavily to the Baroque Concertato style. Polychoral Works Gabrieli probably used the layout of the San Marco church for his experiments. This is because he worked there as a musician and composer. Furthermore, the church had two choir lofts facing each other. He certainly used these to create striking spatial effects between instrumental forces. Certainly, many of his works are composed such that a choir or instrumental group could first be heard on one side, then consequently followed by a response from the group on the other side. Sometimes there was probably a third group positioned near the main altar as well. Spatial Music Above all, Gabrieli studied carefully detailed groups of instruments and singers. Furthermore, it seems like he created precise directions for instrumentation in rather than two groups. The instruments, because they could be appropriately situated, could consequently be heard with perfect clearness at distant locations. As a result, arrangements that seem bizarre on paper, can in contrast sound perfectly in balance. First Works Finally, Gabrieli published his first motets along with his uncle Andrea's compositions in Concerti (1587). These compositions furthermore indicate considerable usage of dialogue and echo effects. Consequently, here we see low and high choirs with the variance between their ranges indicated by instrumental accompaniment. Seems like Gabrieli’s later motets Sacrae Symphoniae (1597) move away from close antiphony. In contrast, he moves towards not simply echoing the material, but developing it through sequential choral entrances. Even more, he takes this procedure to the extreme in the Motet Omnes Gentes. Unlike earlier works, here the instruments are certainly an essential part of the presentation. Also, only parts marked: Capella are supposed to be sung. Homophony Hence, after 1605, Gabrieli moves to a much more homophonic style. He writes sections purely for instruments – which calls Sinfonia – and smaller sections for vocal soloists, accompanied by a basso continuo.

Duration: 6:25. Digital Download PRO: BMI (ISRC: QZDA81912907) Original Sound Recording produced by Visionary Quest Records (www.visionaryquestrecords.com)Your intermediate level to advanced students and even professional musicians should find this to be a welcomed piece to learn and master. It looks deceptively simple but the learning and challenge comes from two smaller sub-ensembles playing together in their own collective units legato con moto while playing together as a whole music ensemble Everyone will enjoy and bathe in the beautiful harmonies that will resonate when the entire music ensemble begins to listen to each while playing together as a group. Your musicians will hone their skills in playing together with just the right balance that this song requires. Your musicians will also hone their skills for subdividing and maintaining an inner beat that is in sync with your conducting because there is no percussion and the notes are freely flowing on and off the down beat yet not sounding heavily syncopated when performed. When will you know when you have achieved the right balance and flow of the music? You will know when, because you will hear it and feel it when it comes into place. But I can help you with all of this with what I have to offer you today. I share with you now Tears from My Eyes: Mourning in the Rain (for Clarinet Choir).Tears from My Eyes music collection is very suitable and moving for funerals, memorials, church, or contemplative settings. Helpful hints: In addition to getting the counts down, even more important is to practice feeling the music collectively together because rigid counting takes away from the flowing emotive nature of the piece. There are actually 3 smaller ensembles within this piece that all three subgroups must musically move together in harmony, rhythm, and balance. When that is achieved, the music and harmonic overtones will be exquisite. The instrumentation is also so important because of the timbre that each instrument contributes to the ensemble. Musicality is key to this piece. This song is the title song on Tito Abeleda's album Mourning in the Rain released on 9/11/2019.Contact info: Tito AbeledaVisionary Quest Recordshttps://www.visionaryquestrecordsEmail: tito@visionaryquestrecords.comFollow Tito on Social Media:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/titoabeledaTwitter: https://twitter.com/titoabeledaInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/tabeledaYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/titoabeledaSpotify: http://bit.ly/TitoAbeleda-on-SpotifyiTunes/Apple Music: http://bit.ly/TitoAbeleda_iTunesPerforming Rights Organization is BMI.com.Customer Service: 800-925-8451

Arranged by Tetsuya Watanabe. 20th Century,Chamber,Children,Folk. 12 pages. N MusicPress #974766. Published by N MusicPress (A0.1391234). Grandfather's Clock is an American popular song written and composed by Henry Clay Work and released in 1876. It is a masterpiece that continues to be loved all over the world even today. This version is arranged for clarinet sextet so that you can enjoy the rich resonance of the clarinet with a classical sound. Along the way, I also include a depiction of the movement of the clock's hands. I don't think it's difficult musically, but each instrument uses a wide range, so I want them to play with good control.♬Instrumentationï¼*...Optional Part ・1st Clarinet in Bb ・Clarinet in Eb (Optional : Clarinet in Eb)* ・2nd Clarinet in Bb・3rd Clarinet in Bb・4th Clarinet in Bb・5th Clarinet in Bb・ Bass Clarinet in Bb.

Clarinet Choir,Woodwind Ensemble Bass Clarinet,Contra Alto Clarinet,E-Flat Clarinet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1236416 By Paul Anka. By Paul Anka. Arranged by Brad Willard. Film/TV,March,Patriotic. 30 pages. Brad Willard #831931. Published by Brad Willard (A0.1236416). The American epic war movie, The Longest Day, was filmed in black and white and released in 1962. It is based on Cornelius Ryan's 1959 non-fiction book of the same name about the D-Day landings at Normandy on June 6, 1944.  The picture opens with a view of the beach and the sounds of the waves washing ashore.  There is a lone helmet lying upside down on the beach, and over the sounds of the sea, and we hear the motif from Beethoven's 5th Symphony, the dot-dot-dash of morse code signaling V, for victory.  Throughout the film we hear variations on the theme of the march which culminates in the playing of the full march as the credits roll. Here scored for clarinet choir is the march from The Longest Day, as written by Paul Anka.

Clarinet Choir,Woodwind Ensemble Bass Clarinet,Contra Alto Clarinet,E-Flat Clarinet - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.720552 Composed by Richard Rodgers. Arranged by Ralph Raymond Hays. Broadway,Film/TV,Musical/Show. 25 pages. Ralph Raymond Hays #3591135. Published by Ralph Raymond Hays (A0.720552). This clever and unique arrangement of the well known Do-Re-Mi distinguishes itself from others in numerous ways, and is certain to captivate performers and audience members alike. Not merely a transcription from the score, the arranger strove to make the work idiomatic to the clarinet choir, and included the do-mi-mi -- mi-sol-sol... strain absent from most other instrumental arrangements. Each voice is featured, and the accompaniment varies from the mundane barrage of downbeats and afterbeats so often mechanically transcribed in other arrangements. The arranger has above all striven to encapsulate the joy and elation he felt many years ago when he was responsible for la while portraying Friedrich Von Trapp in a theatrical production. This arrangement can be combined with Professor Hays' other arrangements to create a SOUND OF MUSIC suite:https://www.sheetmusicplus.com/publishers/ralph-raymond-hays-sheet-music/3002340?narrow_by=the+sound...

Clarinet Choir,Woodwind Ensemble Bass Clarinet,E-Flat Clarinet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1163661 Composed by Simon Franglen. Arranged by Lisa Ochoco. Contemporary,Film/TV. 19 pages. Lisa L Ochoco #764005. Published by Lisa L Ochoco (A0.1163661). Avatar: The Way of Water, is the long-awaited sequel to the award-winning film from 2009.  The soundtrack for the new film was written by Simon Franglen, who originally wrote 5 hours of music to cover any and all situations in the almost 3-hour movie. The Songcord is a beautiful song that is heard twice in the film – at the beginning and at the end.  A songcord is a mnemonic device used by the Na’vi that assists them in storytelling.  In this song, Neytiri is thanking Eywa – the Great Mother - for her family. This arrangement is scored for clarinet choir – Eb, 4 Bb, alto, bass, and contrabass. One of the most important parts of this piece is what helps create the mood, which is where the part called “Shimmer†comes in.  In an interview, Simon Franglen said that an important part of the music is the feeling of light, and he achieved that by including shimmering sounds into his tunes.  With that in mind, “Shimmer†part can be played by hanging a few keys (house keys, car keys, etc.) that have different pitches on short lengths of string.  Use a small metal or wooden object to lightly hit the keys to create little “dingsâ€.Be creative with this percussive part!  You can use a little xylophone, bells, etc.  The idea is to create a magical mood without overpowering the music.  Play this part wherever there is a note in the measure.Always keep the melody prominent.  Play this slowly and freely, with a lot of rubato.  Duration: 3.75 minutes.
