From the 1982 Francis Ford Coppola film, One From the Heart, originally performed by Crystal Gayle, Take Me home consisted of a verse and chorus. This arrangement extends the song by starting with a verse set for a male voice, followed by a verse set for a female, whereupon both join over an active background to sing a duet for the final chorus and conclusion.
Orchestration for the active ensemble is TTBB. The song touches on the universal theme of disappointing one's partner and asking for forgiveness. It's low-key, mellow, bittersweet and romantic.
