Choral Choir (TTBB) - Digital Download SKU: A0.762526 By Imagine Dragons. By Alexander Grant, Benjamin McKee, Daniel Reynolds, Daniel Sermon, and Josh Mosser. Arranged by Carolyn Goates. Rock. Octavo. 5 pages. Carolyn Goates #3627203. Published by Carolyn Goates (A0.762526). This chart-topping song has been covered many times. I hope you like this arrangement for 4 voices. It is in the original key of Eb major, so if you already know the song it is a very familiar sing-along in a familiar place for the voice.  The melody starts with Tenors while Baritones and Basses provide rhythmic accompaniment. As the song develops the melody splits into 3 and then 4 part harmony, with the tune taken by different parts here and there. Tenor 1s have a soaring descant over the tune towards the end. (Top note G a twelfth above middle C for a short while).

SATB Chorus, opt. Children, opt. Handbells - Digital Download SKU: C6.836125 (An Introit for Palm Sunday). Composed by Victor C Johnson. Holy Week, Palm Sunday. Demo MP3. Celebrating Grace - Digital #836125. Published by Celebrating Grace - Digital (C6.836125). Victor C. Johnson has written a bright and festive piece for Palm Sunday, incorporating SATB voices, optional Children, and optional Handbells. Children or Unison voices begin the piece as a call to worship, then the SATB choir joins in the cheerful melody. A contrasting middle section in a new key provides the opportunity for SA and TB singing, followed by rich SATB harmonies. The original theme returns with optional children's choir and Descant. A fun interplay between sections precedes the ending, which crescendos into jubilant praise. Parts for children and 3-octave Handbells (or Handchimes) are included.

SATB Chorus, opt. Congregation, opt. Handbells - Digital Download SKU: C6.836077 Composed by Melchior Teschner. Arranged by Mark Edwards. Palm Sunday, Holy Week, Lent, Christian. MP3. Celebrating Grace - Digital #836077. Published by Celebrating Grace - Digital (C6.836077). Arranged for SATB Choir, Handbells, and optional congregation, this setting by Mark Edwards is sure to be a Palm Sunday paean of praise. A driving accompaniment characterizes the first stanza with standard hymn-like harmonies. The second stanza, with its bell-like accompaniment, allows women and men to shine independently on their own phrases, then combine into four-part harmony for choral texture. The dynamic accompaniment returns for the third stanza and a choral tag ends the piece with a high moment of praise. Handbell part for 4 octaves available separately. A brass orchestration for trumpets 1-3, horn in F, trombones 1-3, tuba, and percussion 1&2 is available separately.

Choral Choir,Choral (TTBB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1321592 Composed by Rod Cunningham. Arranged by Rod Cunningham. Barbershop,Christian. 8 pages. Rod Cunningham #910066. Published by Rod Cunningham (A0.1321592). The initial idea for this song came from a point in a sermon (in June of 2020) by a pastor at my church (who shall remain nameless to protect the guilty 😊). Ā The point was that we can’t get to heaven by following the Law. Ā Only the Gospel can do that. Ā Therefore, the song is a Gospel song, even though the word ā€œgospelā€ never appears in it.The song opens with the statement that the Law can’t ā€œsave your soulā€. Ā It also points out that the Law can’t do miracles (like physically healing the body). Ā The song also addresses what the Law CAN do. Ā The song also alludes to a game (croquet) and a food (cinnamon toast) to demonstrate that neither a ā€œRule bookā€ nor a ā€œRecipe Bookā€ can get us to heaven. Ā These allusions are a bit humorous and unexpected and therefore fit well in the genre of the Barbershop Quartet style.).

Choral Choir (TTBB) - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1196607 Composed by John Allison. A Cappella,Contemporary,Contest,Festival. Octavo. 8 pages. John Allison #795770. Published by John Allison (A0.1196607). This is an a capella setting for six-part male voice choir (TTBarBarBB) of a C19th poem that remains remarkably relevant to any contemporary struggle against injustice. The poem was a favourite of Nelson Mandela's during his 27 years of imprisonment. The piece opens with a haunting evocation of the darkness and cruelty of unjust incarceration; a rhythmic middle section portrays the prisoner's stubborn refusal to lose hope and human dignity, whatever obstacles and punishments must be overcome. The final, maestoso section is a rousing hymn, a joyful celebration of determination to remain true to one's beliefs and ideals, and pride in being the master of one's own fate.Audiences will appreciate the variety of moods and tempos within the piece; ending on a huge emotional high makes it the perfect number to end a performance. Male voice choirs will relish the challenge and the opportunity to demonstrate their control of dynamics, rhythmic ensemble singing and a full range of timbres from ghostly to triumphant.
