Innocence & Experience is a musical setting of four William Blake poems from his works, Songs of Innocence and Songs of Experience, for two-part TB men’s chorus with piano accompaniment. The song set represents a life cycle, first with a lullaby, moving next to a spirited and youthful dance, continuing to the dreamlike longing of maturity, and concluding with the solemn and dark acceptance of death.
