Choral Choir,Choral (TTBB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1374352 By Elton John. By Elton John and Lee Hall. Arranged by Chip Prince. A Cappella,Barbershop,Broadway,Musical/Show. 8 pages. Chip Prince #958955. Published by Chip Prince (A0.1374352). This song by Elton John, from the musical Billy Elliot, was originally written for the character of young Billy to sing as an emotional and revealing statement about what dancing means to him. This confession can, in this context, describe the sensations of group singing as well. This particular arrangement was created expressly for TTBB Barbershop ensemble, whether a chorus with soloist(s) or (potentially) a quartet plus a soloist. A brief explanatory monologue can be spoken during the introduction to set the stage for the song. This setting is moderately challenging, but once learned it allows a lot of room for expressive rubato and a couple of climactic held chords in Barbershop style. It ends introspectively and quietly.

Choral Choir,Choral (TTBB Chorus) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1495648 By Cast Of Billy Elliot - The Musical. By Elton John and Lee Hall. Arranged by Matt Clifford Sharp. Broadway,Musical/Show. 7 pages. Matthew Sharp #1072171. Published by Matthew Sharp (A0.1495648). ?From the musical production of ?Billy Elliot. This has a simple, evocative melody in which Billy's Father expresses his painfully sad life story, whilst still harbouring a deep, emotional connection to his community and home. The opening acapella solo is very effective, though can easily be given to a whole section if required. It's a simple arrangement where all parts get some melody and the tenors only go up to Eb. Your lower basses will enjoy the optional 8vb on the final line!A VOCAL SCORE AND FULL SET OF REHEARSAL TRACKS IS AVAILABLE FOR FREE.Contact: msharp93@live.co.uk www.matthewsharppianist.com

Choral Choir (TTBB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.623669 Composed by Aaron Lee. 20th Century,Classical,Contemporary,Jewish,Sacred. Octavo. 11 pages. J. Aaron Lee #232764. Published by J. Aaron Lee (A0.623669). This choral work draws from the Yiddish folksong, Zayt Gezunterheyt, as well as Psalm 41 to create a work that seeks to emphasize the importance of empathy and caring for our fellow humans. Suitable for both religious and secular settings, this work features a prominent piano part and could even be viewed as a duet between the chorus and the piano. Some chromatic harmony makes this work slightly more challenging, and would be suitable for an intermediate to advanced-intermediate choir. Choral Choir (TTBB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1140977 Composed by Aaron Lee. 20th Century,A Cappella,Contemporary. Octavo. 11 pages. J. Aaron Lee #741226. Published by J. Aaron Lee (A0.1140977). Based on Christina Rossetti's beautiful poem, Remember, this song is portrays the empathetic words of a loved one who has passed away. With great empathy, the song addresses grief and how the character in this song, though they wish to be remembered, would prefer that their loved ones be happy and smile than grieve over their loss. It is ultimately an attempt to uplift the mourners and comfort them. This work is approx. 6 minutes long and is written for a cappella men's chorus and is somewhat challenging due to chromaticism.
