'Get This Party Started', also referred to by some artists as 'Get The Party Started', was initially a massive mainstream hit for the singer Pink in 2001, and formed part of a brief revival of 1960s 'boogaloo' style pop music. Then in 2007-8, Shirley Bassey recorded a cover for a UK spy-themed 2006 Marks & Spencer Christmas television advertising campaign, creating a 'Goldfinger'-styled ballad from the same material.
