Psalm 46 was composed during the height of the global pandemic and cultural upheaval of 2020. The text reflects the challenges of our time (the nations rage, the kingdoms are moved, and the earth melted, what desolation has been made of the earth...) as well as a comforting response (Be still, there is a river whose streams make glad the city of God). This work was selected for performance at the NCCO 2022 National Conference.
