A men's choir (TTBB) setting of Thomas Moore's poem On Music.  Composed in a neo-Romantic style, the piece features a mix of homophonic and contrapuntal writing, accessible harmonies, and crowd-pleasing lyricism.  It was originally written for and performed by the Cornell University Glee Club.

This sentimental and nostalgic classic is arranged for Men’s voices in close 4-part writing – optional divisi – with rich, distinct jazz sonorities and well-crafted voice leading that provides ample assistance for singers to negotiate the challenging harmonies. A great arrangement for a chorus or glee club of Men’s voices, but also very appropriate for quartet alone. Although not suitable for competition, barbershop groups will find it very appealing both to sing and to perform.
