TTBB choir divisi - Medium - Digital Download SKU: MQ.1.3398-E Composed by Stephen Caracciolo. 8 pages. Galaxy Music Corporation - Digital #1.3398-E. Published by Galaxy Music Corporation - Digital (MQ.1.3398-E). English.Commissioned by Cantus in 2014 for their album A Harvest Home and subsequent tours through Northern Europe, the BalticStates, and United States. Written as a companion piece to the composer's setting of Simple Gifts (also commissioned by Cantus four years earlier) this is an arrangement of this iconic folk hymn that sounds traditionally American, immediately recognizable, and not overly arranged, while still having something fresh to say musically using the sonorous sounds of men’s voices.Knowing that Cantus planned to place How Can I Keep From Singing? at the end of their tour program, the final bars were fitted with an extended cadence to bring their staged performances to a satisfying and heartfelt close.

Choral Choir (TTBB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.928974 By The Beach Boys. By Brian Wilson and Gary Usher. Arranged by Donald A. Mills, 2019. A Cappella,Pop,Rock. Octavo. 3 pages. Donald A Mills #4351149. Published by Donald A Mills (A0.928974). In My Room, by The Beach Boys.  This gentle song may be sung as a prayer, with tenderness. Your audiences will love the melody and harmonies. This arrangement by Donald A. Mills is for barbershop as a quartet or chorus. It is TTBB (TLBB) a cappella, sung softly, sweetly, legato, singing the four dotted quarter notes as a 3/4 time. The Beach Boys have mentioned that they wrote In My Room in 12/8 time because they had tired of the 3/4 time many songs of the day were written in. From Wikipedia, Gary Usher explained that 'In My Room found us taking our craft a little more seriously. Brian and I came back to the house one night after playing 'over-the-line' (a baseball game). I played bass and Brian was on organ. The song was written in an hour... Brian's melody all the way. The sensitivity... the concept meant a lot to him. When we finished, it was late, after our midnight curfew. In fact, Murry [the Wilson brothers' father] came in a couple of times and wanted me to leave. Anyway, we got Audree [the Wilson brothers' mother], who was putting her hair up before bed, and we played it for her. She said, 'That's the most beautiful song you've ever written.' Murry said, 'Not bad, Usher, not bad,' which was the nicest thing he ever said to me. Gary Usher (who co-wrote the lyrics with Brian Wilson) further describes that Brian was always saying that his room was his whole world. Brian seconds this opinion: I had a room, and I thought of it as my kingdom. And I wrote that song, very definitely, that you're not afraid when you're in your room. It's absolutely true. In 1990, Brian wrote, I also enjoyed producing 'In My Room'. There is a story behind this song. When Dennis, Carl and I lived in Hawthorne as kids, we all slept in the same room. One night I sang the song 'Ivory Tower' to them and they liked it. Then a couple of weeks later, I proceeded to teach them both how to sing the harmony parts to it. It took them a little while, but they finally learned it. We then sang this song night after night. It brought peace to us. When we recorded 'In My Room', there was just Dennis, Carl and me on the first verse...and we sounded just like we did in our bedroom all those nights. This story has more meaning than ever since Dennis' death.

Choral Choir (TTBB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1117341 By The Who. By Pete Townshend. Arranged by David R. Peoples. Classical,Contemporary,Pop,Rock. Octavo. 12 pages. Bluesilhouettes Music #718904. Published by Bluesilhouettes Music (A0.1117341). I’ve always been interested in Baba O’Riley; it always felt like a combination of Disney’s Electric Light Parade, minimalism, and rock. Take what you want (as to the story) behind this piece - you cannot deny that the title refers to Maher Baba and Terry O’Riley - a combination of Indian spiritualism and musical minimalism. The main melody is there. The voices bounce around with short vocalises/ostinatos to simulate a synth. The piano also becomes integral to the iconic chord progression. This version helps to use what the choir is excellent for - dynamic and textural contrasts while delivering a familiar tune. Enjoy this interactive rendition of Baba O'Riley!

Choral Choir,Choral,TTBB Chorus - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1406776 Composed by Bo Burnham. Arranged by Jacob Klingsten. 21st Century,A Cappella,Comedy,Contemporary,Film/TV. 11 pages. Jacob Klingsten #989524. Published by Jacob Klingsten (A0.1406776). “FaceTime with my Mom (Tonight)†by Bo Burnham is a song from the comedy special Inside. This arrangement is for TTBB a cappella groups, and sits at an easy-intermediate difficulty for high school/collegiate groups. While there isn’t a vocal percussionist part in the score, it is recommended to perform this arrangement with one. This arrangement features the main soloist, who sings quite lyrically and seriously (satirical, of course) about the relatable experience of FaceTiming with their parents. The echoes in the original recording are included in the score for the soloist to sing, if they wish. Additionally, the piece is relatively easy to learn, with a very repetative chord progression. As the arranger, I imagine the background vocalists miming the various lyrics that the soloist sings when they aren't looking, only for them to appear 'normal' when the soloist turns back. This song also works as a great low-key piece for your set if you're looking to add a subtle, satirical aspect of comedy. Additional Details: Key: Db major 11 Pages Length: 2m 20s Ranges: Solo: Bb2-Db4 Tenor 1: Bb3-Gb4 Tenor 2: Gb3-Db4 Baritone: Eb3-Bb3 Bass: Eb2-F3 If you would like the score changed to fit your ensemble's needs, the practice tracks to this piece once purchased, or if you are looking to have a new arrangement commissioned for your ensemble, please let Jacob Klingsten, the arranger, know at jacobkarranging@gmail.com. He hopes to become a middle school and/or high school choir teacher to not only teach the choral art, but also the art of Contemporary A Cappella. He hopes you will enjoy singing his arrangements!

Published by Vocal Works (A0.741930). Live performance video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KfUmiJdfVwM 1. On Bethlehem's silent plain, The stars shone bright, While faithful shepherds watched Their flocks by night. And as they watching lay Upon the ground, A glory came from heaven, And shone around. 2. The simple shepherds' hearts Were filled with fear: For lo! an angel stood Among them there. Fear not, the angel said, Good news I bring, This night to you is born A Saviour King. 3. In swaddling clothes the babe Shall be arrayed, And you shall find Him in A manger laid. And lo! a shining host Was with Him there, And filled with songs of praise, The midnight air. 4. And now on Christmas Eve, When stars are bright, We sing with joy the song They sung that night; Glad tidings of great joy Proclaim again; Of peace upon the earth Good will to men.

Choral Choir (TTBB) - Digital Download SKU: A0.762526 By Imagine Dragons. By Alexander Grant, Benjamin McKee, Daniel Reynolds, Daniel Sermon, and Josh Mosser. Arranged by Carolyn Goates. Rock. Octavo. 5 pages. Carolyn Goates #3627203. Published by Carolyn Goates (A0.762526). This chart-topping song has been covered many times. I hope you like this arrangement for 4 voices. It is in the original key of Eb major, so if you already know the song it is a very familiar sing-along in a familiar place for the voice.  The melody starts with Tenors while Baritones and Basses provide rhythmic accompaniment. As the song develops the melody splits into 3 and then 4 part harmony, with the tune taken by different parts here and there. Tenor 1s have a soaring descant over the tune towards the end. (Top note G a twelfth above middle C for a short while).
