Because of the very orchestral nature of the accompaniment, I have written for piano 4 hands and also used the choir in an orchestral role as well. It has a wonderful sense of drama through the narrative which I have (because of the positions of the sections in the choir I play for) written so it is delivered in a 'stereo effect' bouncing from one side of the choir to the other, a bit like a long rally in a tennis match!
