An advanced intermediate-level a cappella cover of the classic Justin Timberlake song, close to the original funky style with an extended ending, good to get the audience clapping along. Written for male voices, some with high falsetto. Includes a breakdown section for basses in the middle. Also includes shout-out to 'Jus-tin' which can be tailored to most any two-syllable combo--we do 'New York!' Vocal percussion is considered a key component, though not notated, for a fully developed production.Video of the arrangement: https://youtu.be/tkyQTUK4rsQRange: low - (tessitura) - highT1: C4 - (G4) - E5 T2: A3 - (E4) - G4 Bari: F3 - (A3) - E4Bass: F2 - (D3) - C4

Choral Choir,Choral (TTBB Chorus) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1516691 By Mark R Lewis. By Mark R Lewis. Arranged by Mark R Lewis. Contemporary,Praise & Worship,Religious,Sacred. 11 pages. Mark R Lewis #1090864. Published by Mark R Lewis (A0.1516691). The text for “Where Is Hope?” is adapted from the Lamentations Chapter 3 and is an expression of hopelessness, almost depression. The text starts out with the singer feeling lost, alone, and in pain. As the song progresses, the singer remembers God’s promises to always help and be with us. By the end of the song, the singer has regained hope and is triumphant and comforted. First and foremost, the music is very much intended to support the lyrical content of this song.Throughout the song, the key switches from major to minor (both parallel and relative) quite frequently. The piece starts with a very free section with almost no tempo alternating between just voices and simple piano accompaniment. The middle sections have stricter tempo and more active piano accompaniment and the final section increases in speed and excitement with piano truly accompanying the voices instead of just mostly mirroring them. Throughout the piece, meter always follows word stress so there are a surprising number of time signature changes with lyrical clarity always being more important than strict meter. All that said, the rhythms are not too difficult throughout the song and while there are some dissonant harmonies, the musical lines themselves should be singable by most intermediate choirs. The most challenging voice part is probably the tenor 1 line which spends a lot of time in the higher ranges. There are a few optional parts for the tenor 1s that will truly test the range of the singers.

Choral Choir (TTBB) - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.856193 Composed by Don Irwin Robertson and Donald Robertson. Arranged by Liz Garnett. Contemporary. Octavo. 4 pages. Liz Garnett #4265619. Published by Liz Garnett (A0.856193). This song was the b-side to Elvis Presley's 'One Broken Heart for Sale', and as such is something of a hidden gem in his oeuvre. It is a song of lost love that starts off with wistfulness, moves through anguish, and ends with feeling that hope is not all lost. The arrangement features an original verse, crafted to link the song to another in a barbershop contest set, but the narrative works just as well as a stand-alone piece.Vocal Ranges:Tenor: B flat 3 - B flat 4Lead: B blat 2 - F4Bari: E flat 3 - F4Bass: A flat 3 - C4www.HelpingYouHarmonise.com
